Very disappointed I booked a private party for my son’s confirmation the Manager that I spoke to in the emails was happy with me choosing the party room told me that the room would take up to 40 people I also said that I didn’t have the 40 people he said would be fine He send me the menus and I said I didn’t want the finger menu as I wanted the other menu he said once we choose the menu we would sort out so I was happy and confident that the party would be perfect .
The Monday before the party I had a call to talk about the menu and the final changes the lady in the phone was asking me about the menu I said I would like to go for the other menu event if I had to pay a beat extra she starting to say you can have because you don’t have enough people I said I spoke to the manager and he said was ok she goes I am the manager and then I was confused because apparently I was talking with another manager that was just new in the company and told me things that I was not aloud to have then I didn’t know what to do and I said is not my problem if you guys promise and don’t communicate between you and she mentioned that i will have a small room by reception when the other manager told me I could have a bigger room I said I can’t have that room is too small and she started saying someone else already paid for that room and I was so chock that I said how came is booked for someone else when the other manager said I could have that room something was not sound right there.so the party I was planning for moths in 1 day was destroyed I had all the guests invited for that place and everything was such a mess then I said what about the decorations what time can I decorate the room and she goes only at 3 because we have party’s all day and the mass was at 2 so I couldn’t decorate as I would be in the mass she was like that’s the only time you can decorate I was speckless and she said thing about and let as know. Me and my husband we were so stress about all that so we spend all Tuesday looking for another place 4 days before the party worse experience ever lack of manager communication bad management and careless about consequences shame that jersey bowl has such bad management that don’t care about customers.
I found a much better place in the end very happy with everything what they done for me in 4 days .
Shame on you Jersey bowl management hop you learn your lesson and get training before your organise a party that for you may not be important but for the person that is organising is.

The workers there at reception are aweful. We asked for bumpers as we usually do to enjoy our time at bowling and mid way through our game a man turned them off and it completely ruined the night out. There was then lots of technical difficulties with the lanes (we were moved twice) and made to wait ages as they fixed issues. I would not recommend this place at all. Completely ruined the evening and will not be coming back. The man on front has an aweful attitude towards members of our party.

Having recently moved to the area we thought we'd check it out. Our visit was really ruined by greedy family on a lane who despite looking foot, healthy and able to carry a normal bowling ball.. would not let my children 6 and 11 use the lightest ball. I asked and a lady behind desk kindly got us a light ball. Apparently they're is only meant to be 1 ball per lane. Said family had around 6 to 8 on 1 lane. Watched our family struggling on and on as when I went to the toilet someone took the ball back! Struggled on with 1 really heavy ball that kept getting stuck on the lane. This place would be great if someone invested and was more strict.. but 1 ball per lane and no light balls for children in the school holidays? Doubt we will book again because of the lack of the correct equipment. ! No balls at a bowling alley? Come on! Will not be reccomending neither

Constant lane problems, staff brillient but owners need to invest. Not allowed to give refunds, they have to be requested from headoffice so heres the number as its quitw hard to find - 01634 405400

Ok. We stopped here before our flight home as its just walking distance from airport.
Had a few games of bowling. No problems with lanes but finding a bowling ball that suited needs was difficult! Too many heavy balls with small holes so for us larger gents... not ideal.
Price was good though, fiver each per game so cant complain.
Food i would say save your money till you get into airport if travelling home. If not going home eat elsewhere! Plenty of places on island much much better.
So in all om for a few games of bowling but not for food...

Bowling lanes are ragged, with the plastic protection torn at the top of the lane They get away with it as they have no competition. An absolute disgrace that this Island doesn't have a proper bowling alley.

Jersey Bowl has seriously went downhill in recent years. The lanes are in dire need of refurbishing, the plastic at the start of the lane is lifting and cracked. The are is generally very dirty and there musky smell in the air, probably from the lack of cleaning. The customer care is horrendous and the girl behind on the desk on the two we visited was off hand, rude and very unhelpful. It was like she was being forced to work there, absolutely disgusting attitude. The place doesn't seem to have been touched since the 90's compared to the standard of bowling experience you get pretty much anywhere in the UK. The problem is when you don't have any competition and you become very careless about your customers. if people want to bowl they have no choice. However, when someone does open a new bowling experience this place will shut and they will ask themselves what happened. I think its only a matter of time before Tamba offer a much better experience than this.

The lanes are in a very poor state and need refurbishing. There is no 'discipline'. A young woman was wearing sliders, obviously new to bowling. She slipped and her ball fell from her hands and ended up in the gulley of the next lane. Thankfully no one was bowling in the lane at that time. The place also appears shabby and dirty. My hands were filthy from handling the ball, which suggests that the back areas are also dirty.

Had our daughters birthday party here recently and got to say the actual bowling experience was great thank goodness, because the rest of the service was amateurish at best, from the cleaning of the previous party in the room which we did ourselves to a young lad serving cold tea and coffee who had no interest in working !!! 2 weeks later we are still waiting on a group photo which was included in the price being posted to us as no one knew how to print it out on the day. Staff are completely lacking any customer service skills
