What a cute little place, quite old fashioned but had something about it. We had a wander round and had a game of crazy golf (managing to lose 3 golf balls in the water). Worth a visit.

Don't really know how we feel about this one... Just a bit disappointed!

Him:
Loved the minigolf! I managed to win which helps, but was disappointed that we were only able to do one course! It wasn't clear that the price was just for one course until we had completed! We were told to do the blue one FIRST as a family group had just arrived and we would be held up but the red course is clearly much more interesting winding through the rock!
The show itself was a complete let down! So old fashioned and outdated and just relies on recognisable faces as its main attraction! Maybe spend some money on updating and it will be worth a visit again!

Her:
I was really looking forward to minigolfing and to learning about the story of Jersey. At the entrance we saw it would be £20 for us both which is a lot for what it is. The golf was good until I realised I would lose :(! Sad to only be able to do one course! And the crepe tasted like crap in relation to the price! The show itself: the best thing was making fun of the show as there were six of us in it (a sign it would be a waste of time) and two were staff!!! As an Austrian, I don't know the 'famous' people, so the show was just weird old men fighting the air and dying badly. The '3D' heads in the air look outdated and were out of sync and spoke over each other to the point it was confusing!
The worst thing was that we missed the bus because of the stupid shop which sells everything but nothing!

Our family always do at least one round of golf on our holiday and this year did both courses. If you arrive before 11there was a deal on for each person £4.50 . The other deal is that if you do one course you can play the second course for £3.50 per person on the same day.

Tip-get there early on the golf course to avoid crowds which seem to build around lunchtime.

We did not find it tired looking and all the gardens were beautifully maintained. The shops were not there as last year but I guess it may be early in the season still.

Staff were very pleasant.

My only quibble was the price of refreshments in the cafe. I felt they were overpriced.

Very busy on the day we went -the car park had lots of Jersey cars in it so I presume the locals enjoy the golf and go karting,

Definitely worth a visit -if wet, wear your mac! You can still have fun.

Good bus connection too.

We visited the 'Living Legend' village in mid August 2014, and wished we hadn't bothered, when we arrived around 11am my oldest daughter (21 year old) went to the go-carts and was turned away as it had been raining the night before as it 'was to dangerous' to allow anyone on, and was told it would be at least 2 hours before they would open it (at the time it was brilliant sunshine and about 27 degrees).

We thought that would be OK as obviously it was the 'Largest' gift shop in Jersey, however after looking around twice for about 30 minutes we were all bored and left, I'm still totally puzzled with the entrance fee, however if we go back to Jersey, we certainly would not patronize this place.

I don't like giving negative reviews, but feel I was forced to here.

Oh dear! What a lot of money spent to come out of it feeling dreadfully disappointed and ripped off! I took my 2 boys, age 12 & 8 along this week. We took No. 28 bus from St Helier. The whole place was run down with an air of depression. The shop was full of cheap, tasteless, tat. The show was fairly informative but dated. My kids did enjoy the crazy golf so it would be worth going along, if you are into that. I enquired about the karting - £10 for 8 minutes and you have to be over 10 years old. Luckily, my younger son didn't qualify so that saved me another £20 on top of the £30 entrance fee (show & golf) plus £12 for drinks & snacks! This place needs a major investment and Update. Please don't listen to your bus tour guide when he urges you to go in - you will be majorly disappointed and they are probably on commission to say that.

This venue is past its sell by date. It should not be advertised in the Jersey booklets. A total waste of time. Abysmal shop and poor café. Wish we hadn't bothered. Should be reported to Jersey Tourist Board.

We visited on the bus as we were told about this by Tourist Information. The go karting we didn't try so can't comment on that and the crazy golf was on special offer of £15 for a family of four but the state of the course was a real let down. Scruffy and untidy with litter and difficulty in potting the ball because every hole had a raised piece of turf around it which preventing you from potting the ball with any kind of accuracy whatsoever. The edges of the putting area had dips in it which the ball would get caught in. Very frustrating for the kids who lost their patience on several occasions. Crazy golf is supposed to be a fun activity! We left as soon as we had finished the game. The gift shop was not very good either and we thought the whole place needed updating and tidying up.

I have just been around our 2 ,18 holes of adventure golf coursesand examined each hole, not one is damaged or unplayable. Our courses are set in 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens, artificial mountains and caves, ponds where fish are swimming and ducks paddling. it is not a basic crazy course. Both courses are hoovered and cleaned every morning before the general public arrive. Children 7 and under go free , those under 13 are £5.50 and adults £6.50. Therefore I am disappointed that you rated ours only one star and would be interested where you would rate one at 5. It is a free entry our complex, Its a pity you did not try the combined Jersey Experience, or Go Kart combinations which offer further discounts, nor tried our punch & Judy show ( also free) or the vintage funfair rides at £2 per ride . If you are still on the island and have proof you sent the original message I would be happy for you to try the jersey experience and the go karts, free of charge before you leave. .

Tacky and outdated!
We went to play golf but found the course is not suitable for buggies and as we had our one year old with us, we had to give it a miss. Fair enough, but there was not much else on offer! The children's play area was drab and littered.

We ended up turning round and leaving!

I am sorry the adventure golf is not suitable for buggies but the mountains waterfalls and ponds make it difficult. the course is however suitable for any child or toddler old enough to walk. When mentioning the children`s play area you failed to mention the childrens` funfair rides ( rides only £2) and punch and judy show ( which is free) as well as free entrance to our site. Kind regards Owner

We visited the attraction on a cloudy July day, excited to go go-karting. Upon arrival we were greeted by a till operator asking which activity we would like to do - and we're told that the go-karting was unavailable due to earlier rain in the morning and would open in an hour and a half. After observing the track ourselves it looked dry so we could not understand turning families away from using the facility.

We decided to take a look around the shop which was quite highly priced and walk around the gardens (which itself were very small).

In the afternoon some 3 hours later we rang to ask if the karting was on and was told that it would not be on for the rest of the day.

To say the least we are a little disappointed with this attraction and will most likely be not returning - it could do with some investment to modernise or add further attractions.

I am sorry that you were not able to go kart on your recent visit to the Living Legend.Sadly for safety it is not permitted but we accept it is very frustrating for all concerned. We do offer a discounted kart and golf ticket and for those who cant kart they receive a complimentary ticket for another time. The indoor Jersey Experience, adventure golf and funfair rides were still open for most of the day I am really sorry you did not try them! Finally regarding the shop, the mark up on merchandise do very but some of the items were at cost price and our sales assistant would have been happy to point them out to you.

Every day on Jersey was a delight - apart from the day we visited this place. To the owners, your cafe prices are appalling and you are in the wrong to charge such dreadful amounts. What children's playarea ? There was nothing there and toys and play vehicles were chained up. We left before seeing anything else as we were not prepared to spend any more money on what they provided given the evidence in front of us. This was the worst attraction on the Island for us.
