Now Closed!
Oct 2019 • Family
Just made the drive up there and closed, so save yourself the effort. Forums say owners downed tools after being refused planning for a ‘Center Parcs’-type venture. Instead, website remains functional - incorrectly stating TP as ‘Open’ (as do Times on TA). Some bloke even answers the phone - seemingly put out at the inconvenience of callers. Even local hotels unaware of developments. Don’t waste a trip like us! Owners, pl close down website, business phoneline & ask States to remove redundant roadside signage. Previously great venue (that laudably raised money for Africa) now seemingly abandoned in some form of protest

We have been going to Tamba since it opened. Always members, always loved it. Sadly the owner has decided to end the membership option, citing it was no longer viable (instead of just increasing the membership price) and now charge quite a lot per entry. This doesn't seem to be going down well with visitors as mid afternoon on a Sunday the place, which used to be packed, was virtually deserted. I think we saw about 10 families the whole time we were there. It used to be a great place to pop into for a couple of hours and a lunch, knowing you could stay as long or as little as you liked using your membership, now it is more of a commitment to spend the day to get your money's worth. The park makes a big deal of the fact that the previously paid activities are now free, but one of the best paid attractions was the motorboats, which were worth the extra money for the kids to be able to drive a real motorboat, these are now gone and instead you can have a free go on a paddleboat, which costs the park nothing but is nowhere near as exciting. Half of the dinosaurs no longer even move, some have visible wear and tear. I hope the management reverse their clearly poor business decision before the place goes out of business as it was a great place to go. Also - what would have been a great place to bring the grandparents is spoiled by a steep slope just after the minnigolf that I wouldn't want to risk granny on in a mobility scooter nor wheelchair.

The food here is incredible! We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely menu and food was super tasty and great quality. The play areas are fantastic. The dinosaurs were the best we’ve seen anywhere! Well worth a visit.

Fantastic visit

We had a fantastic time. Really helpful happy staff. Loved the boats & feeding the massive koi carp & baby ducks. Both indoor & outdoor play areas had lots of equipment. The dinosaurs were great & the T. Rex was realistic. The crazy golf was good fun. Good choice of gorgeous cakes. The parks is very clean & tidy. A nice place for parents to interact with their children as opposed to watching their children like some other parks. Definitely worth a visit & we hope to return soon.

Morning fun for a toddler

We visited Tamba Park today and our 2year old son had a fantastic time. Both the indoor play area and outdoor play areas are great. We also really enjoyed playing crazy golf as a family for the first time. The dinosaurs were fab and the whole place was well maintained and looked after. We would certainly visit again and good to see that profits made go to a worthy cause.

Took our 2 Grandsons to this amenity, got a huge surprise when we arrived to be told we had turned up on a FREE DAY. Hats off to the owners what a very pleasant surprise. We visited the outdoor play area, excellent, because of the freebie decided to have lunch, not bad, quite pleasant and a good price. Indoor area was brill for our 1 year old with the soft play area. Highly recommend.

In the winter half term I went to Tamba park.It has unusual dinosaur walk where you see animatronic dinosuas and facts about them.It also has a mini golf course, a boating lake, a cafe, a restaurant and one inside and outside play area.In the winter they have an ice-skating ring. This ring is good for learners becuase it is plastic so its not slippery. There is nothing for adults though here.

Great morning for our four-year-old
Oct 2018 • Family
We had a great, good-value morning at Tamba with our four-year-old during our half-term break in Jersey. We took the Number 7 bus from Liberation Station and the journey was about 20mins. The Number 7 bus runs hourly, so keep that in mind when you plan your day. Our son LOVED the dinosaurs and we had great fun taking photos of us running away from them! The outdoor playground was fun, and he spent ages in the indoor playground. We didn't eat there, but we did see some others eating and the portions were very generous and looked delicious; when we looked at the menu, we could't believe how reasonable the food was. Definitely worth the £4.95 for our son and £3.95 for us. I agree with previous reviewers that it wouldn't be a place for teenagers, but I don't think that it markets itself in that way. We had a great morning. Thank you.

Great option for families with kids. Not a place for dining, but it has a restaurant that offers good snacks for kids and adults.
