An enjoyable evening for eight people and no one was disappointed. The espedatas were generous and cooked to our liking. So many food venues do not offer appropriate portions for hungry adults. There was plenty. Great service from helpful staff.

I hadn't been to the Seymour for a couple of years but was so disappointed with the quality of the food we were served. The published menu seemed the same as it has always been. It's a shame as there are no pubs/ eating houses...More

We visited the Seymour Inn last night with friends. After a pleasant drink outside we went to our table in the Captan's Bar. There was a good atmosphere and we were presented with a menu having plenty of choice plus specials. Wine was very reasonably...More

Came here on Bank Holiday Monday for lunch with 3 friends. We ate in the Captain's Bar, the restaurant attached to the pub. Such a great selection of food and excellent service. I had a mixture of sea food served in beer batter, very light,...More

I'd really recommend this cosy pub with log-burning stove in the winter. Excellent service on a Sunday eve as not busy but choice of 2 roasts served until 8.30pm.
