We crossed the beach to reach the causeway to walk to Elizabeth Castle. The sand is firm and flat and beautifully clean. Lots of lovely oystercatchers with their lovely red beaks and red legs.

A clean beach with ameneties and facilities for all ages. However at the time of our visit the beach seemed to be suffering from a vast expanse of green seaweed which did spoil it a bit..

The beach is beautiful sweeping around the bay. At low tide you can walk to Elizabeth Castle or take the transport. Lots of water activities to choose from.

A lovely sandy beach, close to Jersey’s other attractions. It’s particularly close to Liberty Square and the retail centre.

The beach had a lot of green lichen left on it when the tide went out but there was plenty of clean sandy beach. The sea was great but tidal.

St Helier is a nice town but the beach was awful and full of seaweed. Get the bus along to St Brelades Bay beach instead - beautiful

Beaches from Heaven: We're not exactly sunbathers but once you've seen Jersey's beaches, St. Helier's in particular, I wouldn't be at all surprised if you spent more time on these vast golden sands than you might have intended! Beautiful crystal clear water - the lido...More

The public transport is excellent around Jersey and you can purchase a weekly pass so you can hop on and off anywhere, no need for cars or taxi

properly not on the beach, high and low tide would make it almost impossible; but the "rambla" has diverses little lovely bar in front of the beach even through the winter.
