Steam Clock?

A novelty clock near the harbour, not always showing the correct time, but an unusual feature and worth a photo maybe.

We walked past the steam clock several times. In it's hey day it may have ben worth a visit but now it doesn't work. The surrounding water is dirty and it is surrounded by neglected flower beds.

Worth stopping and having a look if passing but don't go out of your way to visit as it's not working and takes 5 miss to look round , take a photo and say " I've seen it"

This exhibit is directly across from the hotel we staying in, The Royal Yacht Hotel. We encountered this display on one of our nightly walks alongside the marina.

Before you get to it you notice that the clock is wrong. This on a tourist attraction shows lack of interest by owners. Only a couple of minutes to look at it. Only come if passing.

At the time we stumbled on it, I honestly hadn't taken in what it was and appreciated it, until I came across it here on TA. Looking for something else we found it by accident. I wish I had spent more time at it. Hopefully people might get it working and promote it more to tourists and locals.

Will take 2-3 minutes to look at so only worth going if you're passing it Shame it's no longer working. I think it did work when I last visited 4 years ago

On the hour you can hear and watch the steam rising. You can walk all... More
