a good walk down farly steep steps to reach beach but well worth it. Good pub at the top of the steps and a nice café on th beach. Great location for a sunset dinner on the beach.

Visited for an hour or two over the May bank holiday, absolutely stunning beach! Rock pools, crystal blue waters- soft yellow sands. A true gem!

Seems to be quite because of access by car. There is a small cafe with fantastic views which has to be booked for window tables. Possible walk out to L’Ile au Guerdain at low water. Martello tower from 1808.

I was there in october and it is so calm, I really enjoyed it. The sand is red and the see is incredible blue, so I was shocked. I never see colors in the nature like in this bay.

The walk down to the beach at Le Portelet is well worth the effort! This is a fabulous sandy beach with a small cafe and a Napoleonic round tower on a rocky outcrop at the centre of the bay! This beach is sheltered, intimate and...More
