A very pleasant walk across the causeway to the lighthouse (not accessible to enter). If you time this right just as the tide has gone out, you have plenty of time to enjoy the views - we were lucky that it was quite a blustery...More

A pleasant walk across the causeway to the lighthouse which offers great views, however you can't get into the lighthouse itself. Be aware of the tides it would be quite easy to get stuck.

This place is gorgeous. No wonder people talk about this place. Worth a visit. We were lucky the weather was nice, tide was out. Be careful the tide turns very quickly.

Beautiful scenery and worth a visit. There is a tribute to a ferry disaster and it's very moving. German bunkers scatter the scenery

Such a fabulous place to visit. It is as good an attraction as anywhere in the world. On a wild and windy day this is a particularly breathtakingly beautiful photo shoot opportunity.

We visited the lighthouse several times in March 2016. Plenty of free parking and easy to find. Especially nice for a late afternoon walk. When the tide is out you can walk to the lighthouse. Great place for pictures. Enjoy!

It's a bracing walk along a paved walkway with fabulous views of the sea and waves. Nice icecream van can recommend! You can't go in the Lighthouse but good explanatory panel about its construction

There is no admission to the lighthouse except on a very few days a year when there is a guided tour with a blue-badge guide. You can walk over to the base of the light-house from about mid-tide free and for nothing. This... More
