This lighthouse sits on the rocky outcrop in an empowering way, overseeing ships out at sea, as well as tourists on land who are simply curious about how to get there on foot! If you can wait long enough the tide will allow you to...More

We were so lucky with our timing as the tide was just revealing the pathway across to the lighthouse. On a dark morning the lurking clouds provide a spectacular moody sky backdrop to the view. Definitely worth a visit. The causeway was uncovered in only...More

This was just down the road from our hotel-very scenic location and at low tide you can walk across on the causeway to the lighthouse.-From here you get brilliant views of the bay. Well worth planning to go across when the tide is out

Well worth a visit just for the views. We visited at about 5pm after everyone had left. It is a very atmospheric area and made you aware of the lighthouse's importance. There are also various underground tunnels from World War 2 that you can go...More

The views from here are stunning. Nigel Mansell lives nearby I believe. The underground tunnels were very interesting as we were on an occupation tour. A few benches that you can sit and admire the view.

Jersey is a stunning place with so many places around the island to visit on an island that is only 9 miles by 5 miles. Corbiere Lighthouse is one of them. It's a moderate walk but tiring for anybody with mobility problems. Stunning views and...More

As it stands out against the setting sun and overlooks the sea, you feel it's beautiful functional strength and aid to sailors . I have yet to go to it's top but to see it is a reminder of all the island activities that required...More

Iconic lighthouse perched on a rock at the end of a tidal causeway bordered by rocks. Fascinating headland strewn with German bunkers and, of course, a delightful walk out to the lighthouse itself, which is occasional open to the public. Sunset is the thing to...More

Search online for a guided tour of Corbiere Lighthouse that gives you so much more than a casual walk across the causeway. Sue is a Blue Badge Guide who has an extensive knowledge of the building of the lighthouse, of the lighthouse keepers who kept...More

Walked along the old railway track from St Aubins to Corbiere (3.5 miles, easy, mainly woodland walk) to the lighthouse. The actual lighthouse setting is really great and very photogenic especially when the sun is shining and a few good waves breaking. Added to the...More

There is a road that leads to the car parking areas. The lighthouse can only be accessed at low tide as you walk across the sand to it. I don't think it's open very often so may be worth finding out beforehand. There are... More

There is no admission to the lighthouse except on a very few days a year when there is a guided tour with a blue-badge guide. You can walk over to the base of the light-house from about mid-tide free and for nothing. This... More
