Staying inside St Aubin's Fort is a right of passage for almost all Jersey's Primary School children. St Aubin was a much more important harbour than St Helier back in the day, with a court house, ship yards, a corn market and mills in the...More

Nothing to see as the buildings are owned by a youth organisation. You just walk around a bit and get a good view of the town before walking back.

Again some military construction. There are quite a lot in the island. Unless you are expert in military history it'n not unmissible.

If you play the tides right you can walk in and out to this one. It’s a nice old fort in a beautiful bay right in front of a harbor and a little town. I loved it all.

One can only walk to St Aubin's fort once the tide has receded. Fortunately there is a rather large difference between high and low tide and therefore plenty of time to cross and return. Once you have crossed however there are some lovely views over...More

The fort can be accessed at low tide and was originally built in 1542 to protect the port of St Aubin. Unfortunately you cannot gain access to any of the rooms in the fort

The fort is easy to get to at low tide from St Aubins. You get some good views from the fort, it’s well worth the effort!

We walked across to St Aubins Fort via the causeway! The island with fortifications from different eras has a rugged beauty and great views across St Aubins Bay! It’s a peaceful and slightly wild place! As a bonus there was a numerous birds feeding on...More

An interesting walk across when the tide is out. Always wary of the tide although it only takes 15 minutes to walk across. Gives a good view across towards St Aubins.

Only able to walk to it at low tide. Built in the 1600's and was involved in the civil war. Still substantially intact and worth a visit.
