Been here multiple times either staying the weekend on a campsite just to pontoon all weekend or just go for a day and get out on the river and catch some fish. Always room to get in and out. Great scenery.
We drove around the park and it was very pretty. Saw lots of deer and even a family of deer. Big daddy buck, doe & 2 little babies.
The rangers had set up a giant slip n slide & there is a concert tonight.
We usually have a great time here for an annual family reunion. The pavilion is perfect with tables and nearby restrooms. The is a sand beach and swimming or fishing. You can rent a campground.. go hiking or just enjoy nature

We stayed overnight here in a pop-up camper and the staff were knowledgable and very helpful. The camp sites are shady, clean and easy to park in but there are some steep grades on the park roads. Close to Parsons and the Tennessee River.
