Overall, the Shrine and its connected religious sites are a joy to behold. The goodwill ends there though and once in the village you will find a host of greedy traders waiting to take your euro's with a pile of cheap and tacky souvenirs and...More

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We only stayed for 2 hours, but could easily have doubled that. Very inspirational!

Attended mass in the Basilica which is in an octagon around the altar. Lovely mass. The chapel where the apparition took place is in a separate building. Be sure to stop and see it.

We did not get to visit the Basilica as Mass was being said. The apparition chapel is beautiful and a peaceful place for reflection. There are holy water fonts just outside so that you can fill your container with holy water. There is an old...More

Very modern and well maintained, everything felt very 'manicured' and big, Not what I expected. However, still an important place of worship, worth visiting,
