Glenmacnass in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains is just a beautiful waterfall. Depending on the time of year you go and whether the river is in full flow, they are spectacular. It's only a short drive from Laragh village and though you can't hike...More

Really pretty, sad it wasn’t advertised more? Seems not much gets signed from roads? We knew from a local map and went looking for it!

While doing the Sally Gap drive we stopped at the Glenmacnass Waterfall. There is a small area to pull in across the road.

On our first trip on 2009 we happened upon this spot on our way to Glendalough and now we never miss that moment to stop and take a photo. So serene!

Be sure to stop and watch the waterfall on your way to Laragh. Magnificent view. Every trip to Glendalough we pass throughout this marble.

I was so excited to see this waterfall and it was truely what I expected. From the top it feels like you are going to fall off a cliff. Beautiful!
