My partner and I spent two wonderful hours here today. We ambled around once, stopped for delicious cake and tea and ambled round again. With so many stunning plants to see two hours just about did it. If you are thinking of paying a visit, I urge you as you walk, to take in the surprises at each turn and the views offered as you walk. Colourful butterflies and buzzing bees were attracted by an abundance of pollinator-friendly plants. There are plenty of seats to sit on and take it all in.
TJ and Simon have created a little piece of heaven and deserve great credit. We can't wait to return.

Though an hour from Dublin & only open sundays (12-5)May to Sept, it is worth the effort. A stunning display of unusual plants, a riot of colour & leaf shapes & textures. The owner,TJ Maher , is more than welcoming & engaging. The fabulous display of potted plants gave food for thought, providing improved ideas for our own garden. The amount of thought & work that goes into this garden is amazing. Thanks for a lovely day out.

Go if you can to TJ's lovely garden and hear the story of how he made it. Its not huge but carefully designed with love. Its open by appointment int he summer months or there are a few open days September 17th 2017 and the 24th. TJ's husband Simon made us delicious cake and sat us down for coffee. TJ gave kindly cuttings and talked knowledgeably about his collection. A fab day out.

Too small to be a Public Garden imo. If you are visiting, plan other visits nearby as you will see everything here in 5 minutes.

The garden is only a third of an acre. The old stone walls and paving make it interesting. The plants are interesting and well maintained, however it is very small. In 15 minutes it can be toured twice.

I was delighted to visit this beautifully designed and maintained garden recently and have nothing but praise for it. The owner, TJ, was most generous with his time in answering our questions and pointing out details we might have missed.
I had originally visited in late summer and was delighted to see the garden as colourful and interesting in early summer as in late.

This garden is open in the summer by appointment or on some open days. It is a fabulous place to vist and to hear about the labour of love that made it. It has many unusual plants which the owner may give you a cutting of and it is in a beautiful setting. On the day we were there on top of giving us a lovely tour TJ (the gardener) and Simon also gave us delicious coffee and cake. TJ grows many lovely species geraniums.

Nice gardens, however they're quite small :) TJ was very pleasant however I'm not sure it's worth 7 euro either. Price is pretty subjective of course.
