What a pleasure to be eating in my favorite restaurant and observe a girl clearing tables and singing as she worked. I asked her why she was so happy working as the restaurant was very busy at the time. She informed me that the owners looked after her and always treated her well. I'm sorry that I didn't get her name and she has a lovely voice.

Staff were so welcoming and soon almost every table was filled. The menu is great- very varied. We tried the monkfish and mussels and although the fish portion was on the small size, the sauce was very tasty. We hadn't booked, tho' I feel we were lucky to get a table at 12pm. Dessert of apple and berry crumble was really lovely. We would certainly recommend Katies for a meal for any occasion. Thank you for making our lunch very enjoyable! We'll be back!! If you're going in the evening, we would recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
