I feel so lucky to have found Pendragon Tours on Trip Advisor. After looking at other private driver companies, I decided on Piotr because he was so highly recommended on Trip Advisor, he owns his own business and his prices were very reasonable. Piotr helped me to plan my whole trip and made excellent suggestions. All of his B&Bs were amazing (the one I picked was not... trust him). He customized the trip just for us. I told him that we would like to go to the small church in Dromagh were my great grandparents were baptized and he located it and worked it into our schedule. We love animals so he planned had lots of animals into our itinerary. My daughter is a big fan of a singer who lives in Mullangar and he not only planned to drive through the town but to showed her his school. He really went out of his way to make that we all had a good time and we did! When he realize that I was enjoying all the castle ruins, he added a few extra stops in. Above all Piotr is very kind and accommodating. He loves Ireland and he wants you to enjoy yourself. My mother had had foot surgery and had not recovered as well as we had hoped. Piotr got wheelchairs whenever possible and pushed mom along and always dropped us as close as possible to the attraction and brought the car around to pick us up. Most B&Bs are two story and Piotr took our luggage up every night and down every morning. We planned to spend a few days in Dublin before we began our tour with him and he offered to pick us up at the airport and, if our hotel was not ready for check in, to take us on a half day tour to Newgrange (he did and it was really nice). We spent 5 nights and 6 days and toured from Dublin south and up along the west coast (Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Cliffs of Moher). We would start at 10am and finish between 5:00-9:00pm. Piotr never rushed us. If you want expert advice on planning your visit to Ireland to the areas and attractions that interest you, I would highly recommend Piotr. As the owner of his business he really wants you to be happy with his services. He is also an excellent driver and some of the "two-way" roads only had room for one car at a time. It was much more relaxing to let someone else do the driving and get to see all the beautiful back roads in the process. We toured in his van which was an older model. This wasn't a problem for us but if you wanted a larger van or a more luxurious car, you might want to ask Piotr about renting. Lastly, Piotr took photos with his camera and gave me a USB with all the photos at the end of our tour, they were even labeled so we would know where they were taken. Finally a vacation with everyone in the photo! I can't thank Piotr enough for making our three-generation tour Ireland exceed every expectation!

My friend and I hoped to see Giant's Causeway but didn't want to drive the distance.
We found Pendragon Tours on the Internet and decided it would work for us.
What a lucky decision!
Peter picked us up at our hotel, drove us to the Causeway and to Dunluce Castle.
He added a fascinating tour of Belfast that could have been a full-day trip in itself,
In addition, he took us to ancient dolmens, the Bushmills distillery, the dark hedges, and the high crosses of Ireland, explaining all of these to us along the way. He gave us a tour far beyond what we had expected.
We had a fascinating day, thanks to Peter and Pendragon Tours. Peter is always on the lookout for new sights to share with his clients. And he is a genuinely nice guy who will do his best to give you a good day and a very memorable and affordable tour.

Thanks to Peter and Pendragon Tours me and my daughter had so amazing time in Ireland. Peter is a very responsible , talkative and charming man. His knowledge about Ireland is ..just massive! And he really loves that countrey. I think it is so important your guide to have a passion for his job!. We chose the trip 'Dublin-Nothern Ireland' .it was so interesting! Now I can say I understand a complicated history of Belfast. But I can say also that I saw Ireland a bit.. I love this country , that green space.. fresh air.. small villages.. Dublin..pubs..Yes we will come back for sure! Thank you Peter for sharing your passion with us :)

I was traveling in Ireland with my wife and her parents (70, 75 yrs old). We were picked up in Galway and were to be dropped off in Belfast with stops along the way: Sligo for breakfast, Derry, Giants Causeway, Bushmills and the Rope Bridge. Most of the stops were suggested by Peter our driver and owner of Pendragon Tours. He planned everything out perfectly. What really made this trip special, my MIL had lived and attended college in Ireland, so there were sentimental sites that she wanted to see. Some of the places had closed or were difficult to find but Peter delivered and got us to every place we desired. He was patient and gave us all the time we needed at every stop and his knowledge of the areas and local history is excellent. By the end of the day, our group felt as if he was part of the family. If you are need of a private driver or tour in Ireland then I would highly, HIGHLY recommend using this company. Thanks again Peter!

I got more than expected, flexible and spontaneous way of guiding made my trip full of surprises, I end up with setting of the biggest balloon in Ireland I saw great places out of mainstream and become a geocaching community member. Came back stuffed with different fields knowledge, soaked with campfire smoke, happy as happends pretty rare. Biggg thanks to these gentlemen!

Piotr did an excellent job detailing out our trip from beginning to end. He took our vague ideas and turned them into a spectacular 9 day trip with the "must dos" and the off the beaten path spots mixed together to keep it interesting. He took the time to get every detail just right. As the trip went on, he learned more about us and the little surprises kept popping up. He went out of his way to take pictures of us rock climbing in spots that most tour guides wouldn't think of going to, much less hanging out to take photos. He even got us Polish beer to try after we mentioned it in passing. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful and extremely attentive to making the trip the best he possibly can. We would highly recommend him for any trip to Ireland, large or small.

Piotr was very accomodating. He said he was willing to do whatever we wanted. He offerred some great suggestions on what we should see. He knew some places that we would not have found on our own. The B&B he booked for us was wonderful. We had a great time. Even when my wife realized she left her pocketbook in a pub in Dingle, Piotr was very accomodating. He drove us back to get it and still took us to see the Gap of Dunloe( a must see). So we proabably added an hour to the trip as we had to back track but Piotr was great about it.
The only issue was the vehicle was a little tight in the back seat of the van for my wife and 2 adult sons, but Piotr is looking at a getting a larger vehicle.
We got to see things we would not have seen with a larger tour and had more control over what we did each day which was great. As much as I would have liked to try driving, it was nce being able to just enjoy the scenery. I am glad I did not have to drive the Gap of Dunloe and had an experienced driver. Book a trip with Piotr. You will have a good time and you won't be disappointed.
Thank Piotr.

We cannot say enough positive comments about Piotr, owner of Pendragon tours, his knowledgeable, incite and love of showing off this incredible country was incredible! We started in Dublin and than had hired Piotr to spend the next 7 days of witnessing the southern part of Ireland and visiting off the beaten path jewels of Ireland! Piotr coordinated our itinerary with sites I had suggested as well as a moray of places that only locals would know about - he explained each place and showed us sites not mentioned in tour books etc. Although we had incredibly packed days, we were never rushed and got to enjoy and take our time at each and every venue. We cannot wait to hire Piotr again on out return to Ireland. You pay for what you get - and he is worth every cent! We now have a trusted friend in Ireland!

If you want to travel at your own pace, a balance of being accompanied but able to spend time wandering with just your travel companion, and flexibility to change how a day is spent, Pendragon Tours is an excellent choice. On a ten-day tour of Ireland, we visited every major sight we wished to see, from the prehistoric to the modern. We traveled to out-of-the-way places on roads larger tour vehicles can't access, and followed an itinerary that responded to our interests, ranging from dolmens to stone towers and from the rolling countryside and picturesque villages to the Titanic exhibit in Belfast. We walked the walls of Derry, hiked the Giant's Causeway, and wandered on the Cliffs of Moher and Kilkee. Piotr brings true enthusiasm to his work as a tour creator and guide. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and ever-helpful, as well as being always willing to answer questions and provide insight into life in Ireland today. We were hesitant about booking a multi-day private tour. We're very glad we booked with Pendragon Tours.

I booked this day trip as a combination tour of The Game of Thrones and the Giants Causeway with a stop at Tolleymore Forest Park for my husband and myself. Filip picked us up at our hotel. Our first stop was Tollymore Forest Park, it's absolutely beautiful. This was Filip's first time here as well so it was pretty cool to experience this with him. He knows a lot about Yew trees which I found to be very fascinating. We had quite a many stops for different Game of Thrones filming areas but we had the most fun at Winterfell. Filip asked the company that runs the Winterfell area if we could put the capes on. They graciously agreed for a small price. My husband and I went off on our own to take silly pictures but we loved it.
We saw the beautiful Dark Hedges and got some great photos. By then the rain and wind had started to get bad. We tried to do the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge but it was closed due to bad weather. Our last stop was Giants causeway and the weather was not looking any better. Filip sat in the car while we ran in the visitor center to pay. Surprisingly, the rain stopped and the sunshine came out. We had a wonderful experience here. We have so many beautiful pictures and memories. Filip did a great job explaining the history on each stop.
It was quite a long drive back home but that was expected, but maybe a couple of quick stops to let us stretch our legs would be nice to add in as both my husband and myself are tall.
I highly recommend this tour and the Pendragon Tour group is very flexible which is what I really liked when I chose this tour.
