Beautiful connemara beach. Sandy and with great rock formations at either side of cove. One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. Easily accessible along a small single track road - a few hundred years. Good visibility of incoming traffic. Small car park and gentle slope to beach so accessible for buggies etc.
surrounded by fields. Caravan park nearby but this is mainly screened by incline. No commercial activities when we visited mid week. Dogs allowed. A gorgeous place for relaxed swim, picnic & play. Shame Ireland doesn’t fine have sunny weather. But when it does this beach is paradise. In fact it’s gorgeous whatever the weather.

Beautiful beach with crystal clear waters and white sands. It was very quiet on my video despite it being a sunny summer morning. Stunning setting, amazing views as you set sbd relax.
There is a small car park down a tiny lane off the main road. There may be other entrances but that's what I used.

Loved it here and sat for a good hour on a grassy headland amidst wildflowers just staring... it is so very very beautiful. Free to park and extraordinary to visit in combination with Connemara NP.

Lovely beach with soft white sand, great views of Mayo and Galway's Mountains and Islands. Not far from Tully village, Renvyle Hotel, Oceans Alive, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.

This beach was beautiful and very peaceful. We were just going to stop by for a quick photo and ended up staying over an hour walking up the shoreline. It was a very serene place to visit.

We enjoyed several spots along the coastline, but nothing took our breath away as sitting for hours on a rock, gazing out in all directions at the beauty of western Ireland.

Stunning sandy beach, gorgeous to swim in, watch out for tide times as very easy to miss opportunity to walk full length of beach. Amazing views, great for families, dogs, ball games and sandcastles! Nice cafe and shop at local campsite accessible from beach also! Watch the drive down as narrow lane way, but So worth it!

Go,see, breathe..
This beach will take you out of your head and into the present as it invades all of your senses...
There are many wonderful beaches in this isle of ours.. This one is up there..
