The ferry leaves from the village of Cleggan, 5k from Clifden in Connemara. There are several sailings daily. The crossing lasts about 40 minutes. Look up the sailing times and don’t be late as the timetable is strict and departures are punctual.

Enjoyed lovely crossing in beautiful sunny weather last weekend. Passengers were delighted when the ferry paused a while to allow them time to watch basking sharks which came quite close to the boat. What a treat!
