A modern visitors center sets up a walk through a medieval churchyard and fortified townhouse. The guides all took on personas of the castle's original era which made for a quite enjoyable visit.

Staff gave their all for visitors to experience what it was like living and working in the castle, what life was like back then and changes that occurred over time. Great experience, informative, fun and interactive.

We went with a 5 year old kid who loved the castle and characters, and who was very impressed with the interactions- especailly when they treated him as a period prince.

The castle itself with a skit that they do probably is about an hr at the most! then if you want to walk around the grounds, they also have a small movie room that shows a movie, I beleive it was about 20 minutes long... More
