We had great tour of this castle on our visit to Dalkey. Great actors and guides. Check out the old graveyard behind the castle..there are pirates buried there!!

I visited the Castle for a Halloween tour wth my daughter and a friend and her son (both children aged 6). We were greeted very warmly by the staff and the tour brought us around different parts of the castle with a different guide at each point who told the children different tales about the different parts of the castle.... We recently had the pleasure of visiting Dalkey Castle. It's a wonderful little castle, perfect for a morning or afternoon outing that doesn't require a full day commitment to experience. We so enjoyed the fact packed humorous interactive tour led by actors dressed in costumes of the day. My husband and I recently visited Dalkey Castle with our three grandchildren who were visiting from Australia.
