I grew up very near to this old church many moons ago. we used to play beside it so i,m naturally more inclined to recommend it. Honestly though its well worth a visit as not only is it 14000 years there but you can update...More

The church was interesting, and there was a board to explain its history. Lovely agricultural views from outside, parking non-existant. Not worth the struggle to get to it.

You'll see the sign where you have to turn off the road, but still it's quite an adventure to discover these old ruins. Make sure you search enough for the old Killaghtee Cross that is actually on a gravestone. Considering it's nearly 1400 years old...

The church is a ruin and I don't believe it has been in use for a couple of hundred years.
