Located in the old strain station this little winery has charm. The wines are ok but then Tennessee is not exactly known for wines. I was happy to see alternative to the fruity and sweet wine offerings often served in the area. This is worth a stop for a quick tasting.

We visited the Blue Slip Winery while on a Knoxville Food Tour. The winery is located in the old train station which makes it a very quaint space. We sampled several of their wines along with some of their menu items (mussels in a Cayuga wine sauce served over fettucini and beef

The winery is so gorgeous and the staff is awesome!! Very knowledgeable and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend trying the Dogwood White!! And order some food while you are there! I will always make this a stop when I am in Knoxville!!

Enjoyed the tasting. Although not all the wines were to my taste, our server was knowledgeable and entertaining. The location in the old train station is great. Make sure you take time to explore the train cars.
