Located in the old strain station this little winery has charm. The wines are ok but then Tennessee is not exactly known for wines. I was happy to see alternative to the fruity and sweet wine offerings often served in the area. This is worth a stop for a quick tasting.

We visited the Blue Slip Winery while on a Knoxville Food Tour. The winery is located in the old train station which makes it a very quaint space. We sampled several of their wines along with some of their menu items (mussels in a Cayuga wine sauce served over fettucini and beef tenderloin with a wine glaze -- both were delicious. Only disappointment was that they were out of several of the wines on their wine list and really cater to the sweet wine drinker vs. the dry red wine drinker. However, I would definitely visit again when they have more dry reds in their portfolio for tasting.

Enjoyed the tasting. Although not all the wines were to my taste, our server was knowledgeable and entertaining. The location in the old train station is great. Make sure you take time to explore the train cars.

I've done Trivia Night twice last year when I used to live in Knoxville and it was fun. I was in town this weekend visiting and went to the Food Truck Park and enjoyed the food and live music. I love the wine tasting and the atmosphere. Staff is always friendly. I stocked up on some of my favorites - River City Red, Old City Red, and Pot Blanc. I was so happy you hear they deliver to most States!
