Every time we go we spend hours looking at everything this place has. It's a East Tn. history lesson in a building. I moved here several years ago and learned so much about the area. Sometimes they have featured exhibits, perfect place to take school...More

Though on a far smaller scale, this museum's exhibits are beautifully constructed and informative. There is something for anyone here, even those who are not especially devoted to this region's history.

I really expanded my knowledge of the area at this museum. I had no idea of the conflicts surrounding the secession of TN in the Civil War.

Always have very interesting exhibits. The recent one about the life and wartime experiences of Sgt York was exceptionally comprehensive and interesting! Also, the on site bookstore has a large offering of books covering East Tennessee.
