It was interesting to walk the grounds and see what life was like in early Tennessee life, especially at the land owned by the first governor, John Sevier. The buildings are period but not original, aside from one that has been restored. Really there isn't...More

Thanks for your review. If you have the time and didn't get a chance before, please pop back by for a guided tour or to take advantage of our walking trails. They are particularly nice during the spring and fall.

Not so interesting, old, rundown and hardly anything to see or do there. I suggest an upgrade to the b property via the state and this place would attract more visitors.

We really enjoyed the tour and our guide, Laurie was very knowledgeable. It’s not far from downtown and worth the short drive. It’s great this place is being preserved. Easy to get around the grounds too. Highly recommend!
