I've visited the Knoxville Zoo (now called Zoo Knoxville) since I moved here to go to school in 1999. They've made huge changes to the habitats and layout of the zoo, which has made it better every time. Last year, they even had 2 baby gorillas :-) My husband and I have an annual pass, and also got one for... More

Really enjoyed my visit, just wish I could have spent more looking around. The Red Panda exhibit it awesome! Love that you can go inside and see them without having to look thru glass or fencing. It was hot and humid so alot of the animals had chosen to go inside where it was cooler but you still had a... More

We loved this zoo!! I think we may have been the only people there without children with us but we like zoos and animals. There weren't many people there as it was a weekday and school has started. What we loved: there was lots of shade, the animal enclosures were clean and none smelled, the natural settings of the animal... More

I went with a knee injury and rented a wheel.chair which was cheap and was able to access any of the exhibits they had plenty of shade for hot days and a water place for the kids just a all.around good place to take the family. All the animals where... More

This is not the biggest zoo that we've visited, but it is very nice. A good assortment of animals in a clean environment. There are extra activities for kids, which was a plus. You can feed a giraffe (extra cost) which is a neat experience.

My kids and I had a great time. It's kind of small, so the price seems high, but the animals have to eat somehow! The splash pad was a PLUS! Thankfully I had the kids' swimsuits in the car - bring swimsuits if the weather permits! I didn't see anything on their website about prohibiting outside food, so when I... More

We saw the baby gorillas the day we were there as well as Fed the giraffes . On other occasions my kids rode a camel. The petting areas with the goats and sheep and other farm animals were also a hit. They had rhinos this year where they had the zebra last year so I don't know what happened to... More

My family and I absolutely love the Knoxville Zoo. We had the best experience feeding the giraffes and spending the day seeing all of the animals. It was such an amazing experience!
