Love it.

The Bijou is a smaller venue for concerts, very intimate. A little less refined, (scruffier?), than the Tennessee Theater down the street. It has its own charms,

They have wonderful performances here. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Seats are comfortable. Loved sitting in the balcony. Sound was excellent. Makes for a great evening out.

Been to this theatre several times and it is comfortable even though it's small and old. Easy to be personable with the artists, even the balcony and 20th row feel close to the stage. There is a bar to serve water, drinks, wine, and beers that are allowed in the theater area. Haven't eaten there, but there is a small... More

We saw my favorite guitar hero for two nights in May 2016. What an excellent venue. We've attended many concerts over the years. This hall has musical mojo and there's not a bad seat in the house that I can tell.

My husband and I went there last week to see a concert. It was a truly, historic theater with a lot of original touches. We had seating in the upper balcony and could still see everything. Music sounds great there. Our seats were "Section: BALRT, Row HH, Seats 20 and 21". NOTE: for anyone with a leg injury OR for... More

My husband and I saw Lucinda Williams at this venue. The theater had an intimate feel- small but very well thought out. We had great seats and the seats were actually very comfortable! The staff were very friendly and polite as well My husband and I plan to return hopefully before too long to attend another concert here

Attended a Lucinda Williams concert. The place is large enough to attract bigger acts and small enough to feel intimate. The acoustics are good to very good. The decor is elegant and reminiscent of a classic movie house - which is exactly what it is.

We saw a country music concert here. It's not that huge of a place which means that unless you're sitting in the tippy-top you can probably see the performer with your own eyeballs. I don't know if it's the nature of the concert, the bijou, or maybe just Knoxville but the atmosphere was very relaxed; people were bringing drinks in... More

First time to visit this place and did not realize all the history. Many, many celebrities performed here. Such a great place and the architecture is beautiful.

It was worth a visit just to see the old style ticket booth and entrance area. The place was closed so the interior could not be seen but the place reeked with history and well worth a visit and try for a time when it is open..
