Clarence Brown Theatre is a comfortable theatre with sufficient close parking. The presentation of South Pacific was great. I am going to check for other events at this venue.

My friend and I used this weekend as "girls weekend" getaway. We had actually planned our trip around another attraction in Knoxville and then decided to try CBT out too. As it turns out... we would return to Knoxville just for a CBT production! We thoroughly enjoyed "South Pacific"! If you are wondering if you should give it a try?...... More

We visit the CBT periodically whenever there's a show that we particularly want to see. We may go only once or twice a year, but every time we go, the show is always great! Because the CBT uses professional talent as well as students, their productions are always top-noch. The musicals are lively, and the drama is spectacular. If you... More

My mother turned 80 in February, and all she wanted for her birthday was to see a Broadway play again. Her declining health kept me from taking her to NYC to grant that wish, but I found the next best thing - the Clarence Brown Theater! We drove 2 hours each way to see South Pacific and it was worth... More

Now in our fourth year of regular attendance. South Pacific last Wednesday night was beyond great. The combination of professional actors and students could be an accident to happen but never is. We saw Putnam County Spelling Bee in San Francisco and shortly after at the Brown. The Brown's version was better!! Nuff said.

During the course of any season, you will view some hits and some misses. This play was one of the hits.

I was somewhat dreading this performance, but the actors are top notch and once again delivered an awesome performance.

You still have until February 28, 2016, to get see "Titus Andronicus!" Once again I was dreaded this performance. It is said to be Shakespeare's bloodiest play. Once again, I was wrong. The set, the lighting, the production was fantastic! Clarence Brown Theatre...I should never doubt you! A truly unforgettable production!

We love this theatre and sign up for our season tickets regularly! The shining light for every year is obviously A Christmas Carol and it is stunning. Our favorite show this year was 39 Steps with a questionable nod to Mr. Burns. We love this theatre because you have so many different choices on what to see and when to... More
