This family is amazing. As a single mother of two, it's difficult at times to accomplish things like, picking strawberries and getting a BEAUTIFUL Christmas tree home, but with the kindness and giving nature of The Fruit and Berry Patch, they delivered my Christmas tree and picked 18 qts of strawberries for me, because I couldn't! Not only that, when... More

The fruit and berry patch has it all from strawberries to apples and peaches. They are always up to date on their voicemail of which fruit is ready to be picked.

This is not only a great way to get wonderful, fresh berries, you get to see the exact growing conditions and know where your food comes from. The family who owns the place is very courteous, and it is a nice activity to undertake with friends or family. Also, it's a great way to teach children to value food, as... More

We have been picking our own fruit at the fruit and betty patch for over 10 years. We travel over 30 minutes from our home to enjoy the farm. They have everything... strawberries, blueberries (one time we picked 18 pounds in one outing), blackberries, peaches, apples, homemade slushies. It is so worth a drive and the experience.

According to the Patch's information August is the time of year when apples, peaches, blueberries and grapes should be available. We were disappointed with the lack of availability of all of these except apples and peaches. Unfortunately, the peaches did not look very good and we already had apples at home. The proprietor was very friendly, so we will return... More

I want to apologize that we didn't have the fruit in August when you came to visit. But keep in mind we do not have control over mother nature. This was one of the most odd ball season I have seen. We lost 90 percent of out blueberry crop and about 75 percent of our apple crop to late freeze.... More

You can pick your own or buy. I have always just bought. The fruits Re good; they also have jelly and some pastry items. The fried pies are good and I think the pound cakes are excellent. Local place, friendly people, good stop.

This locale managed by Mr. Fox has been consistent for "pick your own" fresh produce in the Halls area (North Knox County) for some time. They even offer some fruit already picked in their store, as well as local honey and baked goodies such as fried pies of various flavors. This year they have added very tasty BBQ pork sandwiches... My husband and I stopped here on our way thru Knoxville and picked the most beautiful basket of blackberries for a cobbler. It was fun, as people just don't do things like pick their own fruits any longer. It was nice to relive a childhood memory. We also bought a few pies including blackberry (can you tell I have a...
