I enjoyed visiting World's Fair Park on November 30, 2016. I took the elevator to the observation deck of the Sunsphere and enjoyed a marvelous view of Knoxville. My review of the Sunsphere is also on TripAdvisor. There is no charge for going up to the observation deck. I also looked at the large Rubik's cube model that was part... More

Good example of "world fair" architecture in second half of 20th century. Great for a pleasant walk around or to hike down the trail to the river.

The park itself is a great expanse of grass and water. The primary draw is the Sunsphere, and it is neat to be able to go up inside and see all around Knoxville from above. And its free! Don't forget to stop by the Holiday Inn and see the giant Rubik's Cube!

This is a nice area wrapped around a park, walking area along the water and the Sunsphere. Its clean, safe and free to enjoy a view from the sphere. There is a restaurant in the sphere that was closed early Sunday. May be a cool view to have a drink or dine in.

This is a very well maintained park. Just steps away from Neyland and university of Tennessee. My kids loved looking out of the sunsphere. It was interesting reading all the history with the world's fair back in the day. Looks like they have concerts there also.

Especially lovely views from this famous icon of Knoxville. A quick elevator ride up to a 360 view of the city.

Nice park to walk through . Area well maintained , in the college part of town so parking in area is limited to public. Once was enough in my opinion to visit

Although there is nothing much to see, a trip to where the World's Fair was held is a must in Knoxville.

We had a nice walk through the world's fair park. Rode up the sunsphere to be a great view of downtown Knoxville and surrounding mountains. Great informational posters in the sunsphere. Free. Park is nice to walk through.
