Beautiful and quiet

Very beautiful and well kept park. We had the place to ourselves on a Thursday in August. It was also a sweltering 92 degrees, so maybe people stayed in the A/C. My only gripe is... read more

My wife and I visited here last summer and you can't find a much more beautiful park. Located in the heart of Knoxville, this is a must see stop while in town. The high mark (literally) was getting to go up into the Sunsphere. After a short elevator ride you'll be treated to spectacular vistas of the surrounding area, a... More

It was a great honor to attend the 1982 World's Fair in my hometown, but now it is awesome to enjoy what they did with the park once the World's Fair left. This is a beautiful place to take walks and the waterfalls are awesome. They also hold lots of events at the park; 4th of July celebrations, concerts, fireworks,... More

We sat in the park and just relaxed. it's a nice green space with lots of families out on a summer weekend. The splashpad was obviously a big attraction in the August heat. It was a very friendly place to while away an afternoon.

Very beautiful and well kept park. We had the place to ourselves on a Thursday in August. It was also a sweltering 92 degrees, so maybe people stayed in the A/C. My only gripe is the Sun Sphere. This is supposed to be THE attraction to this park. The elevator was in MUCH need of some TLC. We went to... More

We had seen the "ball" from a distance many times since we moved to Tennessee a year ago and finally decided to go see it up close. The park was beautiful and alive with action. Kids playing on the field and in the fountain. The amphitheater is awesome and so is the view from the ball. Clean bathrooms are on... More

Our first time to the top of the globe and the view was awesome. Beautiful park and fountains. The splash pad is a big hit in the heat of the day as well as pretty to look at. Great restroom facilities as well. Did have to walk a couple blocks from parking lot to the park, May not be they... More

Great height view of surrounding Knoxville, and pleasant as went on a Saturday afternoon and no waits getting up it. Parking a little rough as not sure of the area, and little bit of a walk from the other side of convention center (free parking lot across the street from the convention center). Discovered water fountain park while up the... More

My grandchildren and I enjoyed the Park which had several water fountains and falls along with a nice playground with neat slides and climbing apparatus for use.

Worlds fair park is a nice downtown spot to take your kids. It host many events and the fountains & park are fabulous for kids. You can also go in the sunsphere and take in the great views of Knoxville, UT & More.

Finally decided to check out Worlds Fair Park. Picked up some bagels and coffee and headed up around 6:30 am. We had our old dog with us and enjoyed a leisurely stroll exploring all the areas around the park. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and all the places to relax and watch the joggers and other dog walkers.... More
