We enjoyed the views from the sunsphere and learning about the 1982 Worlds Fair. The amphitheatre is neat and the park is beautiful. We wish we had much more time to explore Knoxville. It looks like a fun spot!

I love visiting things like the sunsphere but this was probably one of the smallest attractions I've ever been to. It took my husband and I no more than 5 min to go up the elevator walk around then come back down.

This is a quick stop in the Worlds Fair Park. The views from the observation level are very interesting. It also gives an overview of the city and University areas.

Stopped quickly to check this out on our way through town. Takes approx 15 minutes to see. Had a nice little display area were you could read about the tower and Knoxville. Was a bit odd that it wasn't staffed and felt a bit creepy (we were the only ones there at the time...felt safe but oddly eery as well).

The old World's Fair park has been converted into a public park with fountains, playgrounds, and open space. The Sunsphere is still there and you can ride to the top for free and see the surrounding areas. While the view is beautiful, the observation area is a bit run down. There's some graffiti on the walls as you walk to... More

Took the kids to see the sun sphere. I have not been in years. It's still pretty cool. You can see views all over the city.

Nice way to spend the afternoon. Pretty park surrounding the sphere. The sphere is free and has a decent view at the top.

Went here other, nowhere near as good as it was a few years ago. The first time i went here the fourth floor had historical artifacts in it, now it's only placards pointing out different views of knoxville and it sucks

The Sunsphere is easy to locate but the parking is horrible! I'd suggest going during the week to ensure a decent parking spot. There is no charge for parking or for the elevator ride to the viewing deck of the Sunsphere. If you are traveling with kids, be sure to take their swimsuits, pack a lunch (and blanket) to let... The view of downtown Knoxville and the surrounding area is quite good. There are panels along the walls that highlight what you are seeing and give a brief history of Knoxville. The bonus is that there is no charge. Yes, it's free. The only downside is parking and an incredibly slow elevator. If you visit on the weekend or after... More
