We did not find information ahead of time saying it was closed, but it definitely was. We had been here once before during the World's Fair in the 80's. Back then the park was bustling with people and the line was too long, so we didn't go up in the tower. This time the place was basically deserted with almost no one walking, although there were cars driving by. Even the pond going through the park that had been a moat at the entertainment stage near the tower was devoid of water. The place looked like a ghost town. I am sure that this place is pretty when Coronavirus is not prevalent and everything is open. The tower itself is nice to look at, but no one can enjoy the view from the 4th floor when it's closed.

Nice for a photo which you can get without walking up to it. Nothing is open around it. It is closed due to Covid 19 so you cannot go to observation deck currently. A ghost town now with an occasional tourist or homeless person.

Drove around it a few times & very cool to see. Sad Covid won't let us go up it. Not sure if it is worth to park & walk up to it. Not much allowed to be open around it right now.

Great photo op...from the ground. World's Fair Park is pretty & a nice area to walk, but the "creek" was drained. Crepe Myrtles were still blooming. Nice way to spend an hour.
