This is basically two parks in one. I have really only been on the larger side one time, and that was to use the very clean restroom. The other side is the canoe and kayak launch, and it is a great place to put in for the row to the highway or all the way to the Narrows. One caveat: on the weekends, you will run into congestion waiting to launch into the river as bad as Friday afternoon on West End Avenue. The one time we went there on a Saturday morning, there were at least 35 to 40 canoes and kayaks ahead of us waiting to put in. We had to wait more than 30 minutes and then had to negotiate the water traffic. However, there is a reason that this location is that busy when places like Newsom's Mill or Hidden Lake have just a couple at a time.

My sister got married here two years ago and we have been coming here since. Love to run, play in the beautiful lawn. Picnic, play frisbee golf and slash in the water fountains. Such a great place and well taken care of.

We love walking the track at this lovely local park. Very scenic. Lots of parking, playground, field for running, soccer, kites, etc. There are lots of community activities through the year held at this park.
