I was very impressed by the carousel. I've been a carousel fan for years, and like to see authentic hand carved carousels whenever I get the chance. There's an interesting variety of animals - some that are very unique - and it was a real treat to experience them. Due to COVID-19, half of the animals are "off limits" so I was unable to see them all. But after each ride, staff clean ALL the animals. I would recommend it to anyone who likes carousels.

good place to take your little ones, also a place to go and remember when you were young. Can have birthday Party's, take pictures for fun, graduation even weddings. Does cost to ride and hold activities. Has a outside playground as well. Close to area restaurants and downtown

The Kingsport Carousel is so much more than a regular carousel. It is so much fun to ride AND it is a moving work of art. The animals are hand carved and painted. It is beautiful. When you go, don't just jump on and ride. Stop and look closely at all it has on it. I have ridden it several times and, I swear, I see something new every time. This isn't just for children. It's fun to ride on pretty days and anytime you want to turn that frown upside down.

We were in Kingsport for a wedding and had an opportunity to visit the carousel. It is a really fun thing to do bringing me back to my younger days when you saw carousels everywhere. This on is quite unique in that the animals on the carousel have been carved and painted by local Kingsport citizens volunteering their time. There was a significant amount of personal volunteer put in this effort and it paid off in a first class ride attraction.

This jewel of the Kingsport community reflects all the best of what we offer as citizens. Lovingly conceived and constructed by volunteers, it provides unconditional joy to all who enter. Go ride. No matter your age, you will feel the excitement of discovery with each rotation.

I so enjoyed riding this carousel. I'm over 65 and it remined me of my childhood. It only cost $1.00 for the 4 minute ride. I can't wait to share this with my friends on my next trip to the area.

A must see for all ages. Children enjoy the ride and "grown up" children can reminisce. It is indoor with A/C and open doors when weather allows. Nice gift shop and new playground added on the outside. They have a private room for parties.

I enjoyed my ride on my moving horse. It was hard for me to get down off of the horse. Next time I will ride a smaller horse.
