Campsites are all up on the ridge above the lake, sites bunched together (the old standard set-up that lake-goers liked before so many big rigs). Campground road 1 lane & narrow. We stayed overnight in #20 inside site, wide but difficult to maneuver 37' 5th wheel into, barely leaving enough room to get truck off the narrow road, which has... More

It goes to show what can develop if local businesses pitch in donations to help build a recreational masterpiece. So glad we went on a busy weekend, there were so many different kinds of never seen before play equipment and the other children seem to have figured out right quickly how they were used. Lol For sure we will go... More

Our girls loved the playground! A wonderful place to stretch our legs and even get in a few rounds of "obstacle courses" through the various interesting playground sets.

We enjoyed an overnight stay in the campground at this state park. Park attendants were efficient and helpful. Our campsite #22 overlooked the Holston River. Be sure to review sites carefully before reserving as they vary in size, quality and scenery. Some sites are not level. We walked the Devil's Backbone trail and enjoyed the views. As the brochure says,... More

Warriors' Path is a very nice park to go to . I have went on alot of church outing at this park. They have alot of nice shelters, a nice swimming pool, a large lake to fish in, hiking trails. If you are in the that area stop and visit.

This is a great place for picnics and people watching and just enjoying being outside. We use the charcoal grill and eat a great meal then go over to the playground next to us to watch how the accessible design is enjoyed by the kids. There are items from The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe including cloaks and a... More

We spent a whole afternoon at Warriors Path park. Its suitable for picnic because there provide table and blench for visitor. They did provide "free Wifi" but the services was intermittent. Our kids had fun all time at Darrel's Dream boundless playground for all afternoon until evening and we had a picnic over there.
