Warriors' Path is a beautiful State Park with many amenities for all! My children love the playground and we have launched our boat from the ramp here many times and enjoyed the clean and uncrowded waters of Patrick Henry Lake. There are mountain bike trails and walking trails and horseback riding and disc golf courses. A great park that I... More

The new bath houses at the campground are a great upgrade. Wish they would of put air in them but hey its a state park. Most campsites are small and out of level but again it is a state park. Would love to see them add sewer to the sites like other parks are doing in the state. Would recommend... More

It's our family tradition to camp here first every summer. Been coming a few years now. Always a good time. My little girl loves the activities and has become a Jr ranger. Always clean and always nice people. They have new bath houses which are really nice. Absolutely huge playground down by the lake and the lake is nice too.

Went horseback riding - Easy ride, Nice people. After that we went kyacking - Loved the lake. I saw many other things to do but ran out of time, I study herbs and saw on their website a list of plants native to area. A history of the vegetation - I am looking forward to going thru their programs and... More

This is an excellent park. There are volleyball courts, a great playground, picnic shelters, paddleboat and canoe rentals, a fishing pier, and much more. My favorite part is the hiking trails but you kind of have to hunt for them as they are not really included on the signs in the park. The park staff is helpful if you stop... More

Here for a family reunion. It took place in the air-conditioned building near the lake. Very good facility with plenty of electrical outlets for all the food that needed to be heated/kept warm. Restrooms inside the building were fairly well maintained for a state park. Nearby is a building where folks were renting a range of water craft (peddle boats,... More

We have visited several times and have not been disappointed. The playground is the cleaniest one I have ever been around. The creek is my child's favorite part. It has a small area for wading and she couldn't wait to peal off those shoes and jump in! Love the tree house lookout and tire mulch that bounces as you walk... More

It had been awhile since we had walked around Duck Island, I'm so happy we came back. There are leisurely walks around or if you are feeling ambitious go for it at Devils Backbone. Don't underestimate how lovely this park is and come back if it been awhile.

Great weekend get-away for recreation, pick-nick, walking, boating and biking. It's only a short drive from our residence and always a great place for outdoor activities.
