There's lots to do here. You can hike to the fire tower if you're adventurous...it's a moderate hike and I consider it strenuous to hike to the top of fire tower...but I'm not in the best shape , my husband does it a lot. You can also hike around the lake ...still a great hike . There are lots of... More

Been going to Bays Mountain Park since elementary school field trips and now I'm 44 years old and I still love the park! I've been an avid backpacker for years but if I don't have time for a big trip, I can quickly slip over to Bays Mountain for a nature fix. For only a $5 ticket into the park,... More

This has always been a favorite place to visit since childhood. I love the wolves the best but as an adult I am enjoying working my way through the miles and miles of hiking trails. It is so beautiful up here.

A wonderful place to be outdoors and have fun. I am not impressed with the guy in the planetarium, arrogant little person, but the park is great. It is worth the visit and I highly recommend the lakeside trail on your visit.

The drive to this park was a nice off of the beaten path ride. It was $5/car and has the potential of being a great place to spend the day especially with small children. It was quite disappointing though that most of the indoor and outdoor exhibits had no live animals or fish. The presentations and the barge ride only... More

I like coming here and seeing the animals. I would like to see more animals available. Kids seem to enjoy it.

Bays Mountain in KIngsport is only a short drive from downtown just past I-26 on Reservoir Rd. One day admission is a very small reasonable fee. Once you arrive you will be impressed with the beautiful lake build on the mountain. The park has a planetarium and other indoor exhibits making Bays Mountain an idea visit in any type of... More

Beautiful lake with barge you can ride. Paths/trails winding through the woods for a quiet walk, jog, or bike ride. Very peaceful. Animals displayed in their natural habitat. Educational for children. Great place for families.
