We enjoyed our hike on the lakeside trail with our family, friends & dogs on a leash. Military past and present get in free- very nice.

Great outing with lots of outdoor beauty. Also enjoyed the animals but our favorite was the planetarium.

Please don't think this is a zoo were every animal is out and about because some of the animals were not out but we enjoyed ourselves. The deer and turkeys were out and about but the wolves were the best we watched them for a long time. Very nice and only $5 per car.

Nowhere will you find a park with so much to offer. Beautiful hiking trails, great visitor center with an "up to date" planetarium, and awesome animal habitats. They also offer zip line, a ropes course, and a lake where you can take the kids to fish. A great place to spend the day with children and grandchildren.

Visited the planetarium and the small animal santuary. Pretty neat and quiet weekend getaway. Amazing way to encourage your kids into astronomy.

With its hiking trails, bicycling trails, fishing, lake excursions, planetarium, observatory, nature center, and animal exhibits, Bays is a secret gem of Kingsport. There's an entry fee per car and several of the shows are not free, however an annual membership is so cheap that just a few visits pays for itself.
