Great fun

Very fun for my 7 year old and her 4 year old cousin. Yes, maybe it's on the older side but it has character and has a lot of fun and interesting things to do. If you have a child... read more

We were traveling home from the Smoky Mountains and decided to break up our trip with a stop at the Hands On Museum. This is a fun little museum. The exhibits are slightly dated but our two year old did not mind. We spent about 45 minutes walking around and playing to give her a break from the car. It's... More

My 3 year old has a blast there. But he's 3. He doesn't see that half the stuff don't work, is broken, and torn. I always loved Hands On growing up. It's made a downward spiral. The train table is never lout together, they took out the awesome playground and put in some kind of puzzle foam pieces and balls????... More

Our little place badly needs an update. I hear they are moving to the Gray Fossil site and I think that's a wonderful idea. Better parking, bigger space, clean up to date building. That's a win win for sure. The kids love it because they can run like crazy in there and not get fussed at and there is a... More

To be honest it wasn't worth $9 maybe $5. The staff was very nice and accommodating, but the place is really dated and run down. The kids had fun, but they are six and two and can have fun just about anywhere. I would have liked to see the Tesla exhibit, but found it hard pressed to spend an extra... More

Very fun for my 7 year old and her 4 year old cousin. Yes, maybe it's on the older side but it has character and has a lot of fun and interesting things to do. If you have a child with a big imagination this is a pretty fun place. It's not inexpensive and it's not new by any means... More

Good for children under 12. Plan on spending about one hour. As previous reviewers stated it does have the appearance of being a tad outdated. Don't know that I would go back because it is one of those been there done that kinda of places.

The Museum has been a local favorite for years. If you have children they will have the time of their lives. As a big kid it is still fun. It gives children many fun chances for play and sensory activities.

This place has changed very little on the inside over the last couple of decades, yet the price continues to rise. Today, it was $32.25 for 2 adults and 2 children. The kids price was the same as the adults. The extra 25 cents was because I used a card and not cash. To continue raising prices, the exhibits need... More

Way too high of a price for no new added items. Most items have been here for decades. $32 for a family of 4 is a ridiculous price for the size and age of the play structures.
