THE WORST experience with a business I've ever had and Im still not finished dealing with it. I called on 7/10/2020 to rent a boat & lily pad and Katie took my card info over the phone. The charge was posted next day for the rental plus taxes which was agreed upon via our phone convo. She explained to bring ID and credit card day of to put on hold for a security deposit. 7/26/2020 was our reservation day, I signed a contract, which she refuses to give me a copy of, on which I left the details of my Discover card for the security hold. An hour and half after we were out on the boat it wouldn't turn on. While we were trying to start the boat, as we were encouraged to do by Katie, the key broke off in the ignition. When we told them this over the phone we were informed it would be taken out of our security deposit. One of the members in our group went to sit down in the captain's chair and it broke off underneath them. We realized it had been taped on. We took pictures and video to send once we got back to dock. They couldn't come tow us in and we were left there until about 3 hours later when they finally came back and out and got us. When we got back to the marina we were verbally assaulted by Katie and her workers with threats of police and DUIs. I asked for a copy of my contract and what the charges would be, Katie said she would send them to me but never did. I looked at my Discover card account, the card I put on the security deposit and nothing had been charged. I was relieved. But i remembered a couple weeks earlier I had given her a different card and thought I should check just to be safe. Sure enough, she had already charged me the full $1000 to my MasterCard, a card I never authorized on that contract. I've texted and called several times asking for clarification, wondering why she still has my card info saved from a previous transaction. I've sent a handful of messages asking for a contract that legally I should have a copy of. What has Katie done? Blocked my number. She claims to run a multi million dollar company yet the only contact info on the company's website is her personal cell and email? If you run a multi million dollar company you should have money to fix some of you Baird with more than just tape. I've reported her to the BBB and I have disputed the charge she wrongfully made on my card without my authorization.

We had friends who suggested Sweetwater to us. We drove up on a Saturday and rented a pontoon to enjoy the day on the water. Everyone there was helpful and kind and Jeff went out of his way to ensure a fun and safe day for us. The pontoon was perfectly clean, spacious, a pleasure to drive, and the lake and scenery were beautiful. Jeff’s suggestion as to where to eat was also phenomenal. Sweetwater is usually booked solid weeks in advance so try to plan ahead. We highly recommend their pontoons and look forward to renting again with Sweetwater.

Amazing service, pristine boat, wonderful location. Katie and her team couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. We have had 2 weekend on their boats and had an absolute blast. We can’t wait to go out again on these fantastic boats. Thank you.

We reserved the 26 foot pontoon boat for July 15th, but two days later the other couple backed out and I called to cancel. A week went by and no refund appeared on my card. This was more than two weeks before the scheduled trip. Even though their website did say something about cancelling in 72 hours before the sail date would incur as 150$ fee, I was shocked that they charged me the cancellation fee with more than 2 weeks notice. They won't have to worry about any business from me again.
