Chickasaw State Park (9 Replies)
Since the posts on here concerning Chickasaw State Park are from over a year ago, I am trying to get some info on the cabins from people that have stayed there recently. Am interested in knowing what the cabins are like inside as there is no website to view them. The only picture I find under Tennessee State Parks is of the lodge. We are going to be coming the end of August for 3 nights with our dog. We are beginning to think we will not be able to leave our dog unattended in the cabin for...More

Hey PC , I can not answer youquestion, but I have a question for you. Do you have like a small kennel cage you could take with you to leave you pet in while you are away from the cabin? We have one and it is very mobile and roomy. I use it everyday. When we leave home to go to work and town we put our baby in it along with his chew toys and he is very comfortable until we return. Just a thought............
Outdoor activities for a few day? (0 Replies)

Could anyone advise if this is too late/cold for hiking? How to go about getting hiking itinerary and info about the Chickasaw State park and if there are any others I could explore? is there much a difference of sightseeing along the way if i choose...More
