The Pigeon River offers something for everyone. Adventure down the Upper or Lower section... Or you can do both! Each section is about 6 miles long. The quick shuttles combined with the close proximity to the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area make this...more

I am very sorry your visit to Wildwater Pigeon was did not live up to the standards you have become accustomed to. When the wasp nest was detected staff sprayed and treated the offending nest, it was difficult to access the location as it was...More
The river is pretty tame but fun. There is just enough rapids to make the trip exciting. The guides make the experience memorable. Mike (our guide) was definitely the guide you want if you are looking for the wet and wild version.
We went on the Upper Pigeon tour with our 9, 11, and 14 yr olds. It was safe, fun, and full of excitement. It was the most fun we had in Pigeon Forge and we had a lot. Our river guide was Mike and I...More

Thanks for considering Wildwater. The Upper Pigeon River and Waterfall Zipline are great options for your family!! Although the rapids are fun and exciting our Guides serve as a great resource to put you in as big a waves as you like or bypass the bigger waves as desired. There are numerous Ziplines in the region but absolutely nothing like Wildwater's Zipline tours with zips across the river above the whitewater rafters, waterfalls, lush moss covered rocks and fern covered Forest floor with tree based platforms and the only platform and zip mounted into the side or a. 70' rock wall/cliff. Guides take care of all the details and safety clips. It will be a family adventure you won't soon forget. The Jeep tour is scenic but not an off road adventure. The family will probably enjoy the longer Waterfall Zipline Tour and Upper Pigeon Rafting over the shorter zip, raft and Jeep. The Jeep is great but maybe not a match for college students. We look forward to seeing and serving your family!! Team Wildwater
