Family fun with just enough adventure!

This was the first experience for my daughters and I and it was perfect!! Our guide, Maggie made us feel safe while teaching us how to maneuver through the water to have fun. My husband was with us and he enjoyed it too. We upgraded from the lower to the upper when we got there and are SO glad we did. The rapids were not too rough, but were just right for us to get wet and have fun without falling out of the boat. Maggie also let us do some fun things like spin the raft on a rapid and get out and swim for a short time. Such a fun activity to get outside and spend time as a family. HIGHLY recommend Rip-Roaring Adventures to anyone looking to go rafting, and request for Maggie!! 💜💜💜💜💜

My husband and I had the best time. We did the lower river since it was my husband's first time rafting. There were some small rapids but nothing extreme. We had another couple and their two small children in our raft as well. Our guide was Benji and he was the best !!! He pointed out some interesting facts about the wildlife and trees of Tennessee as we traveled down river. It was a great trip..We will definitely use the same company and guide (Benji) when we go back next year to do the upper river...Would definitely recommend this rafting company and ask for Benji when you book your trip.....

Our experience with Rip Roaring Adventures exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful scenery filled with relaxation and fun. Our guide Dan was exceptional. He was well versed in the local wildlife, amazing with kids, and made our family’s first time rafting experience complete! I highly recommend going here; you won’t regret it. I 100% recommend!! They are all so nice and welcoming, and so positive too. We had Joshton as our guide and let me tell you he changed my perspective on life. He kept us save and even made sure we had an amazing time. He is a great dude! Again 100% recommend for you even if scared, they help you not be scared!!

Best Activity of the Week

Our group of 6 (2 parents and 4 teens) all loved this activity. The tour company was very efficient and we enjoyed every minute of our trip. The Upper Pigeon River run had just enough rapids to excite the teens without stressing out their worrying mom! We all had a great time. Our guide LJ was excellent and did a great job direct us in our paddling. Even though I had been very nervous about doing this activity, I always felt safe and enjoyed the trip down the river very much.

Would highly recommend...especially for someone rafting for the first time.

Had A Blast!

What a blast! Our guide Heath was awesome! There were definite thrills and excitement. We also had a chance to jump out and float down the river through a calm section of the river. I was a bit nervous about the kids (mainly our youngest 10 year old)...no problem. All the kids 10-18 said this was better than going to Dollywood! Never thought my kids would say that in a million years. This is a well organized company and the crew was very energetic and professional. Can't wait to do it again!

We had a blast white water rafting! Our guide was Emily and she did great. The roads going in were a little rough but it was definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend this place. The only issue we had (which wasn’t a big deal) was we booked it online for 10:30 and didn’t get started until 11. We just went in an checked out the gift shop.

Fun afternoon!

We had a group of 12, ages ranging from 5-60. We did the lower pigeon scenic float and we ALL had a great time! We were put in 2 separate rafts, but they made sure our rafts were by each other the whole trip. The scenic float did not require much paddling, so we were able to take a lot of pictures during it and get out to swim a couple times. But there were some parts where there were just big enough rapids to made it fun and exciting. Views were gorgeous the whole time. One caution to those heading there though- our gps took us down a basically one lane road (it’s open to 2 lane traffic but only one car can fit on the road at a time- we were in a truck so that made it very challenging when a car was coming the opposite direction!) so look at a map and try to come in the opposite way through Hartford.

Whitewater rafting

We had an absolute blast! Smaller shop so more personal. All the guides were awesome - they joked around on bus and river to make it really fun! Our guide Trey was super knowledgeable and easy going and friendly-we had a blast surfing in the currents! It rained hard while on the water and we thought that made it even more fun! We got to jump in and swim too! It was a first for our teens (13&16) and they loved it! I wanted to go again right away! It wasn’t too scary but has lots of great rapids to give us tons of action - and a good soak. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

It was my first time, Me and my Husband and another couple was with us. I got thrown from boat along with the gentleman from the other couple/ I was so thankful he was there in the water with me. We would like to talk with you guys. If you happen to read this will you call me: 256-589-6943. I am so thankful for you . I had a lot of fun over all. Dirty Mike was our guide, the boat got stuck on a big rock was why we fell out. They were there for our rescue very shortly after our fall.
