The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum is a department of Lincoln Memorial University and one of the largest Lincoln and related Civil War collections in the country. It is a mixture of history and art collections that focus on Abraham Lincoln and his over 150 year legacy. Several galleries rotate during the winter months. Weekday hours are 10 to 5; Saturday's noon to 5 and most Sundays 1 to 5. We close during the school year with schools academic calendar. Please see our web page or Facebook for updated information. The Museum is open seven days a week from March through November and only closes Sundays during the winter.

There is not much to see in this area. It's free if you or your relatives go to LMU. It's on LMU campus. It's a small museum dedicated to President A. Lincoln and the civil war. It's so touching when I was reminded of the...More

This small museum hosted at LMU has some interesting campaign items for AL. It is undergoing some needed updates at time of review. Needs some improved item signage for featured items to help tie together the exhibits. $5 for adults.

It's a good place to just walk around in a quiet day and look up interesting facts about old Honest Abe.

I have been coming to the area for over 30 years and never visited this museum. So much information and very educational. They were doing some renovations but it was still worth the small fee to get in.
