Spend some time in a quiet gem

Good park for family to hang out. It is a little bit north of the city, but it is fun nonetheless. They have a great pool there as well as docks for fishing.

It was so serene being by the lake. My husband's family had their family reunion bbq here. The picnic shelters were very nice, one with a kitchen space, two large fans, grills, and plenty of setting. Just sitting by the lake looking out was super relaxing. We wondered why on a beautiful day like it was there wasn't many people... More

It was a really long but exciting trail, i got to experience cliffs, lots of water, and beautiful scenery. I do plan on visiting it again sometime.

We served the group lodge facilities here for a weekend retreat for a group of 45 women and it was just perfect. There were two sleeping lodges with plenty bunk beds, and we had access to another meeting lodge that contained a large meeting room with plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate our group's activities, plus it contained a... First, I have to say that you shouldn't expect too much help or friendliness from the guys at the entrance of the park. They don't really seem to ever want to offer me some help when I visit and seem un-educated on the park's operation. However, this park offers some beautiful hikes and is always a fantastic spot to fish... More

This park, while small, is packed with options. There is a pool, dock for boating or fishing, and places to hike and walk. Or, feel free to sit down and have a nice picnic lunch. It isn't that far out of town.

Love this park, it has everything for the family. Wonderful trails to hike and beautiful scenery. I can ride the trails or I can walk my dog. Worth my tax dollars.

I went to college in Chattanooga back in the '80s and used to come here often just to relax and get away. It's so beautiful right on Chickamauga Lake. The facilities are weathered but the park itself is pretty much the same. There's a nice pier, picnic pavilions, and bathroom facilities. Quiet and serene. Great place for skipping rocks. I'm... I love how this park is off on it's own. I came by it on accident and so glad I did. Not many people there which is perfect! Very pretty environment and scenery. I enjoyed my time there very much and plan to return soon.
