Overview
More
The Franklin Theatre opened in the summer of 1937 when the marquee first illuminated Main Street. The downtown historic landmark closed in 2007 but reopened as a 300 seat venue in 2011 with an investment of more than $8 million to again enrich, inspire and connect our community. It still features classic and recent release movies, community and private events - but most exciting are the live concerts by diverse original talents such as Sheryl Crow, Art Garfunkel, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Vince Gill, Keb Mo and many more.

After visiting Franklin a few days previously we decided to go back to visit the theatre just to experience this wonderful venue. The film that was playing was only PG rated but it was good family entertainment. After purchasing our tickets only 6 dollars each...More

Despite all the difficulties from a power outage at the beginning to the concert, the staff and Lynda Carter made the concert one I will always remember as one of the best!

The Franklin Theatre has been totally renovated and is an intimate setting to see huge music stars perform. Right on the Main St., browse the shops before the show, enjoy a meal or drinks nearby, then go to see some of the best stars in...More

This deco period venue has been lovingly returned to 'glory days' status. Seating, lighting, facilities, projection and even an adult beverage bar have not diminished the charm of this classic stage. While I love attending special events and well known performers, I'm happiest with the...More

I have seen numerous shows here and there is nothing to say bad about The Franklin Theatre. First, there is plenty of free parking. Beet and wine sells for half of the cost at The Ryman or other nearby venues. The acoustics are great and...More

The venue is intimate and the sound system is excellent. Unlike many small venues, the seats aren't jammed so tight that your knees cannot fit when you are 6'2". However, the seats are tightly placed side to side so keep that in mind. Some events...More

There isn't a bad seat in the house and the acoustics were great. The floor is sloped like the old theaters. The only problem is when someone spills a drink, it rolls down and gets everything wet that is sitting on the floor. The staff...More
