An amazing gallery! Full of beautiful antiques and unique artists! When we are in Franklin my husband and I have visited Gallery 202. Recently, we purchased a piece of Kelly's work. Merle the donkey. We love it and it is prominently hung in our living room. As Dr. Alfred Barnes once said" Art is no trivial matter." Thank you Kelly! You are and incredible person( humble, kind and generous of spirit) and we are so happy to have a piece of you that we can look @ and just smile. Hope to visit again soon!
All the Best!!!
Fondly,
Mort and Melissa Fetterolf

We stopped in here as part of a warmig break while on the Franklin on foot historic walking tour.
The Gallery was by far one of the most interesting and varied art galleries I have ever visited.
35 artists from the Nashville area, and such a variety of art and price points too. The home that houses the gallery is a piece of art in itself with a rich history of it's own. Jim was a most gracious host particularly since it was a Monday and the gallery was not even open. Loved looking at all of the artwork, so much of it was to my taste. Such an unpretentious space,

Franklin is a perfect place to visit; masses to explore but don’t miss out on Gallery202. You’ll get a very warm welcome, see a huge variety of exceptional art, great conversation without any pressure to buy. The owners are knowledgeable, interested in their visitors and happy to explore the very many artistic styles with you. Do make an effort to visit. Carol and David.

They are great owners. They've done the best job at promoting the Art Crawls on the first Friday of each month.

You can't come to Franklin and miss this gallery, furnished with period pieces and artfully restored. Built in the early 19th Century, survived the Civil War and now home to great local art, you will be delighted you included Gallery 202 in your travel itinerary.

Kelly Harwood and Gallery 202 display a fine array of paintings, glass, bronze, and wood pieces, furniture, as well as jewelry that make this gallery hard not to revisit. As Owner/artist in residence, he provides a personal, friendly touch to the gallery while he paints, displays, and explains the story behind the works. If you enjoy friendly galleries, located in a pleasant historic setting, Gallery 202 is definitely worth the visit.

We visited this gem of an art gallery during a walk through Franklin. We had originally intended to visit the antiques area but, as a painter, I gravitated to the gallery and quite simply just stayed and enjoyed the art. The owner/curator of the gallery met us at the door offering water. The featured artist, during our visit, was Michael Hooper who is a charming and whimsical folk-style painter that had we not been travelling we would have considered purchasing. We fell in love with the work of a local encaustic artist and as with small local galleries were much tempted by the jewelry - each a piece of art. We met and enjoyed speaking withe artist in residence who lives during the winter in Hawaii and enjoys Tennessee in summer. It is always fun to talk with a working artist and I think he would easily engage children in a conversation about making art. We travel to Nashville every year and Gallery 202 will now become a much anticipated destination.

Gallery 202 is an art gallery owned and operated by an area artist. He displays art from a number of artists in a restored historic home. Ask to see the canon ball imprint from the Civil War. The owner is extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable and is very involved in community activities. I've purchased several pieces from Gallery 202 and find the art accessible and it makes me happy, which is primarily what I look for in art. If you're visiting downtown Franklin, or just for a destination trip, I highly recommend Gallery 202.

A constantly changing display of art, sculptures, craft and jewelry. Affordable prices and unique styles. On the 1st Friday of each month Historic Downtown Franklin has an Art Crawl that may feature 20-30 local artists scattered throughout the town. Gallery 202 has become the icon and epicenter for this event. Don't miss it!

We appreciate so very much the wonderful comments! It has been an amazing experience since we opened here in downtown Franklin. The excitement of making many new friends, working with awesome artists and customers, also having the opportunity to be a part of this community over the past five years has been more than we could have ever expected and look forward to many more years. Thanks and our best to you. Kelly
