Not just walking tours, we now offer bicycle tours and rentals too. The ghost tour is our most popular tour, but visitors also love hearing about the rich past that lies just beneath the surface of Franklin's quaint Victorian charm. Site of "the most famous battle you've never heard of," according to National Geographic, Franklin's Civil War story will amaze and enlighten you on the most divisive time in American history. Just minutes south of Nashville, Franklin is often cited as one of the most beautiful downtowns in the U.S. Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable guides will make your visit to historic Franklin an unforgettable experience. Our tours include the Classic Franklin city tour, Civil War in Franklin, Grave Matters in the Cemetery, and for fans of evening activities, the Haunted Franklin, Ghosts of the Battlefield at the Lotz House and Murder and Mayhem Tours. Bicycle tours and rentals are available from March-November and our Southern Style food tours allow visitors to savor the flavors of Franklin and enjoy history at the same time. Most tours are available daily by advance reservation; some tours have minimums. Just call and see how flexible and accommodating we can be.

My daughter and I stayed in Franklin at the Drury Hotel Saturday night, and decided to walk in Franklin early Sunday morning, before heading back to Little Rock. It was a great time to visit Franklin, as the streets were quiet, and we were able to park on the Main St. We walked up one street, down the other, then... More

Alicia did an excellent job of making history of Franklin come alive in a most interesting way for me and 11 year old grandson. Highly recommend.

It was amazing. I loved the trip. It was awesome. I hope my photos will be attached to my post. In the blue house look at the bottom window. You can clearly see something moving The one with the bush, look at the door. There is a outline of boy it seems going through the door. Then the brick building,... More

My husband and I had a great time on the ghost walk, Thursday Night July 7. We really enjoyed the stories and visiting with Alicia. She even gave us tips on what to do and see the next few days. My husband bought a t-shirt (Got Ghost?) He wore it to a family gathering and we told everyone how much... More

We are in town visiting our son and daughter in law and decided to do the downtown Franklin ghost tour. Margie was an awesome guide giving us a great balance of ghost stories and the history behind each of them. Intriguing and yes a little spooky but everyone had an awesome evening.

I highly recommend the Battle of Franklin Tour. Margie does a great job bringing the historical facts of the engagement to life through the stories of those who lived in Franklin at the time. She truly brings the events to life as you travel through the city and can almost imagine the battle unfolding. I recommend this to anyone who... More

I live in history-rich Franklin. This is an excellent foot tour to do especially when out-of-town guests are visiting. They love it and I'm forgetful so it's always nice to do the tour again!
