Not just walking tours, we now offer bicycle tours and rentals too. The ghost tour is our most popular tour, but visitors also love hearing about the rich past that lies just beneath the surface of Franklin's quaint Victorian charm. Site of "the most famous battle you've never heard of," according to National Geographic, Franklin's Civil War story will amaze and enlighten you on the most divisive time in American history. Just minutes south of Nashville, Franklin is often cited as one of the most beautiful downtowns in the U.S. Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable guides will make your visit to historic Franklin an unforgettable experience. Our tours include the Classic Franklin city tour, Civil War in Franklin, Grave Matters in the Cemetery, and for fans of evening activities, the Haunted Franklin, Ghosts of the Battlefield at the Lotz House and Murder and Mayhem Tours. Bicycle tours and rentals are available from March-November and our Southern Style food tours allow visitors to savor the flavors of Franklin and enjoy history at the same time. Most tours are available daily by advance reservation; some tours have minimums. Just call and see how flexible and accommodating we can be.

The ghost tour took me to different streets of Franklin and some very interesting homes. The stories Alisha told combined history with the mystical and were very engaging. It was a lot of fun!

A great way to spend the morning, having fun and learning about the history of this beautiful city. Alicia's combination of knowledge, humor and energy provided the highlight to our travels, coming from a tour of Graceland, a historical downtown carriage ride tour (both in Memphis) and a tour of Fontanel just outside Nashville. When you can have fun, laugh... More

We've lived in the area for many years and finally took the Franklin ghost tour by Franklin on foot. Such a cool way to learn about the history of the places we've passed by all these years. Many thanks to our tour guide Alicia! Great fun with friends and family!

Alicia was our guide and did an outstanding job showing us the history of Franklin on a rainy day. Will definitely ask for her on future tours!

Wife and I enjoy doing ghost tours. We were staying close to Franklin so we signed up for the tour. Our guide Alicia was awesome. Her interactions with the group and knowledge is outstanding. If we are back in the area we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening.

Margie was educational and kept the group moving well. The city has amazing civil war implications and Margie shared a lot of those as well.

We celebrated my husbands birthday by going on this food tour." Southern at its best." Each stop was southern hospitality. The owner or staff took time to explain our dishes, and their story of the place. The food was delicious with generous portions. It was as if we were sharing a meal and afternoon with family. Miss Margie is so... More

My aunt and I booked the historic tour over Labor Day. Alicia could not have been more accommodating, from working with us on mobility issues and adapting the tour to our needs. I've been to Franklin a lot but this was a wonderful overview of Franklin's history that made the community come alive.
