Not just walking tours, we now offer bicycle tours and rentals too. The ghost tour is our most popular tour, but visitors also love hearing about the rich past that lies just beneath the surface of Franklin's quaint Victorian charm. Site of "the most famous battle you've never heard of," according to National Geographic, Franklin's Civil War story will amaze and enlighten you on the most divisive time in American history. Just minutes south of Nashville, Franklin is often cited as one of the most beautiful downtowns in the U.S. Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable guides will make your visit to historic Franklin an unforgettable experience. Our tours include the Classic Franklin city tour, Civil War in Franklin, Grave Matters in the Cemetery, and for fans of evening activities, the Haunted Franklin, Ghosts of the Battlefield at the Lotz House and Murder and Mayhem Tours. Bicycle tours and rentals are available from March-November and our Southern Style food tours allow visitors to savor the flavors of Franklin and enjoy history at the same time. Most tours are available daily by advance reservation; some tours have minimums. Just call and see how flexible and accommodating we can be.

Alicia was amazing!! I am so happy I decided to go with Franklin on Foot and would do it 100 times over and the other tours. She was so energetic and her stories were extremely intriguing with everyone listening closely. Loved it! It's a great adventure for both ghost lovers and non ghost lovers/believers. The stories were a highlight and... More

My husband and I took the Haunted Franklin Tour and we were very pleased. This tour involves a walk through picturesque Franklin, Tennessee. You will hear about the ghosts that linger throughout the streets and buildings in this beautiful downtown area. Definitely worth the price-$18 per person. Keep in mind that this tour is only available certain times of the... More

Our guide was very informative with . She would also try and include you in the conversations about what you had experienced. The history behind the sightings was very interesting. That the buildings are still in such good shape for their age is wonderful. You could almost feel the ghosts presence.

We live in Franklin, and were interested in the tales of Franklins early and sometimes quirky residents. October was a great time for the walk, which was very slow and easy for all levels. Our group had about 12 in it, and everyone interacted. It was def worth the cost. Search for a groupon.

Being a part of the Vulcan Paranormal Team, I thought it would be fun to do a ghost tour while in Tennessee! Alicia was great and I was amazed by the history of Franklin! The sites were fantastic and I only wish we could have went longer.

Nice tour, even the kids enjoyed themselves. The town of Franklin is beautiful, we returned the next day to visit all the shops. The Gallery shown in the book store is amazing!

Our tour guide was great, knowledge of Franklin's history, good relationship with the 5 restaurants, honey store, spice shop, cake store and chocolate shop. Never felt rushed to complete the tour. All was in very easy walking distance from start to finish. Don't eat a late breakfast, you will be satisfied with the tastings offered. Wait staff/chefs were very cordial... More

Alicia was our guide, and she was amazing! She had so many interesting stories to go along with every building we visited. She also knew alot about the history of Franklin. We were there with children, 12,9, and 5 and they also loved it. They can't stop talking about it this morning. Highlight of our trip to Nashville so far!!
