I went with my sister and my 6 year old granddaughter. We did the Hiawassee Loop. I was a little apprehensive as to how "climate controlled" the cars would be because it is hot and humid during the summer in Tennessee. We were very comfortable...More

This is a great way to spend your Saturday. I rode the Copperhill Special. The conductor and staff were very nice and friendly. The conductor even played songs for us on his banjo.

I was visiting a nearby state park (Clouldland State Park ) and decided to visit the town of Etowah, Tn. The Depot is a cool place with a lot of old railroad artifacts. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We visited this place with our train loving boys. The tour guide was very patient, informative, and answered any questions our kids asked. He also seemed to love his job.

Great train ride with nice views of the Hiwassee River. The conductor was very personable, giving the passengers interesting facts about the area and points of interest along the route. He even entertained us with his banjo and singing.

Depends on the train-some do and some don't open. I would check with individual train agent.
