Simply the best! We had a great time! First we were all outfitted with safety gear; life preservers and helmets. Then a quick introduction of every one and we attended a short class that explains different aspects or the"do`s" and the "don`ts" of riding in the boat, and what to do if we fell out! The young man teaching the... More

I just went today and it was amazing! The course was easy for beginners and it felt easy. The guides in my group were very attentive and helped me even when I got lost once. The adventure in the funyak was amazing! It was a gorgeous setting for my first time ever!

We were checked in and equipped with our vests and helmets right away. Drove down to the river and put in. Richard, our guide, was very helpful, friendly, and fun. Great time on the river on class 2 rapids for about 5 miles. Definitely looking forward to the class 3 and 4 rapids in the future!

I went with a party of five recently and this is a top notch organization. From Sammy who handled my reservations in the most professional and courteous manner to Richard our rafting guide. They made this an awesome trip. Not only will we be back but will tell everyone in considering rafting to book through Cherokee Adventures.

I took my two kids on their first rafting trip with Cherokee Adventures (CA). I could not have been more pleased with our day of rafting. The guide was very knowledgeable, funny and informed my children on what to expect. I would recommend CA if you want a great experience whether you are a first timer or an experienced rafter.... We have been going to Cherokee Adventures for 4 years now and we won't use any other rafting company! This trip we had 6 people and went down on 2 rafts because the water was a little low. We enjoyed our river guides Mike and Keith! They were very knowledgeable of the rapids and were great to ride with! They... More

My husband and I were one of the 4 couples on the guide trip with Ben and Eric. Both guides knew the river well and were very personable. We all had a blast, especially with Ben and our surfing adventure! We also rented single fun yaks the next day for a self guided trip down the lower half of the... More

4 inexperienced couples took the economy full river trip with 2 rafts. Ben and Eric Benson were both great guides. Very knowledgeable, full of interesting facts and humorous too. The river was a great mix of different types of rapids and I felt very safe. The price for the express trip was quite reasonable and included 2 stops with granola... More

We had a group of 12, did some funyaking, and rafting, and I can honestly say that my whole crew would recommend this activity to any Venture Crew, or more experience Boy Scout Troop looking for some real excitement. All of their guide, though a bit quirky, were very experienced and skilled individuals who's knowledge of the river made for... More
