The course is well maintained and it has some challenging holes. The first hole is blind and it would have been helpful if the staff would have informed us to wait for the "bell" ring before teeing off. Carts are a little outdated, but other than that I would definitely recommend. The restaurant has the best wings in town!

Located at the edge of Elizabethton, this course presents a good challenge to the average golfer. Some water, lots of hills, not much sand but definitely some tough holes. Reasonably priced, this course represents a great value. If you're in the area, be sure and give this one a try.

Ridiculous… Called to see what the junior rates were. we don’t have junior rates. we don’t want them slowing the pace of play.. lol.. maybe it’s the fivesomes you let play and the put a single or a double behind them. 3.5 hours to play 9 holes.. needed to leave so my daughter could make practice after 9 holes bc it was so slow.. oh we don’t give refunds or rain checks.. won’t be back.. very very rude..

visiting roan mountain state park. decided to play golf and went to elizabethton golf course. the course was nicely laid out in great condition with exceptional greens. All employees were very nice. the problem was they allowed fivesomes. we followed two fivesomes on front 9. on back 9 the second five some added another player and played as a sixsome. that is right a sixsome. needless to say it was a long frustrating round. the course management allows fivesomes but had no comment on sixsome . if you visit the area I strongly recommend playing another course.

I play here a couple times a week. The fairways and greens are "private club" quality. They have two practice putting greens and a driving range.

This is a no thrills Golf Course, but well maintained. Open all year round. I find it does get busy with the local school kids that come out to learn. Jeans and t-shirts welcome.

Actually attended a retirement party at the country club. A really nice place with great young people working at the venue. Had dinner after the party and the food and service was good.

This is a great public course if you're looking for golf in the area. The grounds are well-kept and the people are very nice.
Our little ones attended an awesome golf clinic this week. They learned a lot of golf rules and got in some practice while having lots of fun. Then, they enjoyed playing in a grandparents/grandchildren tournament over the weekend. It was set up perfectly by age so that even a six-year old could enjoy the game. The golf pro, Vicki, was great with the kids.
Check out this course & the lessons. You'll be glad that you did.
