My husband and I had a caving adventure with Appalachian Underground in October of 2018 and it was excellent! We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour so we really felt like we got the star treatment! The whole experience was...More

Beyond expectations! Jon was a great guide through the vast underground expanse. Our family had an awesome time walking, sliding, bouldering, climbing and wading through the cave. Jon is a great story teller and made you feel very safe. One of our guys asked him,...More

It was our first time caving and we weren’t sure what to expect. It turned out to be better than we ever imagined! Our tour guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. We plan to go back and introduce some others to this amazing experience!

Such a cool experience and introduction to caving, think we found our family's newest past-time! John and Zach shared tons of history and science about the area and the cave. Neither shrugged off any questions (we had tons) and never rushed us through any of...More

A group of 10 friends used Appalachian Underground as our tour guides for Worley's Cave. Mel and John were outstanding guides. Very informative and also very patient! They provided gloves, hard hats with headlamps, fanny packs, transportation to and from the cave, water and snacks....More

I had such a great time on the tour. It was like being a kid again. I would do it again tomorrow if I lived closer. Thanks for hanging out with me at the back of the line Mel.

This year I decided I wanted to go caving for my birthday, so I signed up pretty last minute for the Worley’s Cave tour. It turned out that my partner and I were the only people on the tour, which was great for us, because...More

Yes you have to have your guide. They know the ins and outs of the caves. It is very slippery in there

I think you must be referring to some other place. This would not be a safe place for small children - in fact I think there is a minimum age limit. No stairs - it involved climbing, crawling, and sliding in places.
