Many original buildings but also several with unfortunate remodeling. Lots of antique shops, a few restaurants but they were closed on Sunday evening with the exception of Wyatt Earp’s. Saw some places to visit Monday morning for coffee.

We visited for lunch and for Christmas shopping. Several stores with nice gift items. The clothing and boot stores are very expensive, with no sales. We noticed several stores like the yogurt shop was no longer in business.

Fortunate enough to be in town for the Christmas open house...all shops were open late around the square and offered light refreshments. This is a super sweet & charming town square. Worth the trip downtown, fabulous antique & gift shops.

Covington Square is an active area with thriving antique stores, restaurants and boutiques. It is currently decorated with autumn themes and scarecrows sponsored by local businesses as well as beautiful hanging flower baskets. They even have piped in music, rock collecting and Pokémon!
