We stop in every time we are in the area. The fresh apple cider and apple fritters are wonderful. The chicken and dumplings are perfect comfort food on a cold day. We enjoyed the scenic view of the orchard and the horses.

The very large building which houses their produce (fruits and vegetables) for sale was full of apples of every kind, jams, jellies, pear butter, apple butter, etc. Their fresh hot fried apple pies were the best I have ever had. All items were fresh and reasonably priced. I bought some Pink Lady apples which were very good and have kept... More

I love this place! We sat at a window table looking at the apple trees busting at the seams with fruits! We ate breakfast and then went into the market bought apples, cider which was to die for! A wooden bowl and a birdhouse from local artists. Breakfast was very good! Would go back again! This time get a case... More

Reasonable prices. The fried pies were delicious not sure why they are .50 more in the restaurant though. Parking is limited you probably have to... More

We love every bit of Carvers and stop annually...the little store, market with many variety of apples and squash and muscadines, jams, jellies; and the restaurant can't be beat! Delicious fritter balls and cider are included, and the menu is wonderful!
