The beer was very good (session IPA) and the staff was very friendly. They have a nice outside patio, but it is blasted by afternoon sun so we did not stay for very long (we were also tired from a hike). They also have ice-tea and some premade sandwiches and prepackaged snacks. They were wearing masks and cleaning tables regularly so appreciate that. Would definitely come again and stay longer.

Not a lot happening in Copperhill/McCayesville. But you can get some great, local craft brew! Our group hit Buck's Bald brewery first for a round and then headed over to Copperhill brewery. Buck's Bald isn't large but has a nice outdoor beer garden, dog and family friendly. Not a huge selection of brews, but what they have is all pretty good. The guy working the kegs (the owner maybe?) was very helpful in directing us towards beers we would like based on our preferences. Everyone was happy with their selections. I had a good sour draft. Don't think they had any food. Judging the experience primarily on the service and the quality of the drafts. Excellent service. Merchandise available for purchase. Note that most things in the area close pretty early. It was a Saturday night and both breweries closed at 8pm...

Delicious and beer - they do half pints so you can try a few different kinds. There was a really tasty recipe with low alcohol content (Mountain Mild) and lots of IPAs. So fun and interesting talking with the brewer - we learned a lot about his process. They do a great job making you feel confident during Covid - sanitizer spray on each table and signs to indicate after the table has been cleaned. It was a great place to enjoy family time outside and try different beers while our kids brought takeout from down the road.

This is the second time we have gone there on a trip to Ellijay, GA, from Florida. Discovered it 1st time while walking around during the 1/2 way stopover of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Wonderful little spot, proud to be in a converted vintage Esso gas station, with memorabilia all around. Great conversations with owner, friendly staff. Terrific beer! Great outdoor patio!

Great place run by Patrick and his wife. Place for the locals and avoids the train traffic which is a huge plus. If you get a shot, try to join the mug club too... The beer is excellent and always changing beers/kegs out. Has sours too if you dig that, wife does, so go get a pint. Place and the people rock

Always Awesome. Patrick works the crowd and bar with superior skill. Great beers on tap to satisfy everyone. They close early, 8pm, so get there early. It stays away from the train crowd too which is perfect. If you get a shot, join the MUG Club and really have a personal experience. See you again in 2 weeks!

Love the location in Murphy,NC! It is a great new addition to the town. Beer is great, decor is unique, outside seating options are perfect for making it pet friendly! Only suggestion I would make for improvement is change up the music!!!! Be aware of the client ages and vibes, The last few times I’ve been there, the client age bracket is 40 and older. The heavy AC/DC rock band station can get old. Switch it up with some other music besides a screaming Acid rock music. Some genre like Lyle Lovett, Bob Seger, or Chris Stapleton would be nice.

We stopped here for a beer to get the day started. Great spot in the reclaimed gas station with fun proprietors. Nice outside spot and a great IPA selection. Enjoyed a couple beers in the sun. Good start to the day

Great brewery in a converted gas station. Easy to find (located on main road thru town). Plenty of on-street parking. Easy walk from train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of beer varieties.

Such a fun little place with a really wide selection of beers & a great vibe. Owner Patrick Keenan is the friendliest guys & is so appreciative of every single customer that frequents his place. If you're ever in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor & stop in for a cold beer & warm service!
